The hotel is situated in a quiet part of town but still within easy walking distance to the old town and the main festival hall. 10 minutes walk from the station and bus stops nearby. The rooms are in good decorative order, the beds are comfortable, the air condition is very efficient which was a relief in 30 degrees plus heat. Excellent breakfast buffet in a pretty dining area. Small issue with the safe was solved within minutes after reporting by a very helpful member of staff who at her own admission was the apprentice.

Nothing negative to report - best hotel we stayed in Salzburg so far.

The hotel is in a quiet area, very close to the station and a good 10 minutes walking distance to the start of the old city. When we booked we asked about wheelchair accessibility and the reply was to automatically book us into an accessible room - we appreciated the initiative and kindness of the staff to meet our needs. On arrival our room was ready and check in was very smooth. The receptionist on duty tried to see what tours were available with wheelchair accessibility. It was so pleasing to see someone going out of their way to help. The room itself was small but quite functional and the bathroom was newly renovated and appropriate for someone with mobility issues.

We didn't have any complaints about the hotel nor about the staff. We found the whole experience very positive.

Easy to find, easy to park, good location for 15min easy walk to all the Salzburg tourist spots. Clean, comfortable rooms, all of which you’d expect from Mercure properties. Staff were friendly and helpful at check-in and welcoming each time we returned to hotel.

Breakfast & restaurant were a little too expensive for our budget but no biggie. Easy walk to SPAR supermarkets & other places to eat.

Somewhat outside centre for a ‘city’ hotel, but walkable distance. Rooms are warm and air conditioning was only working as a heating with fixed 22C. Need to open window all the time to cool it of a bit. 4 star somewhat overrated with no gym and no pool.

The Hotel is near to the city centre and to the train station. The location is perfect. I could stay in a room that looked at the yard of the hotel, so it was silent. The room was big, so as the bathroom. The breakfast was perfect with wide supply of food. The staff is over-supportive, they were always for helping the guests. Thank you!

As a wheelchair user, we received a very small room. After my request for a bigger room we did received one. the problem was that it was impossible to get into the bathroom. It was kind of danger to get in there without the wheelchair.

Cleanliness and location were excellent.

Nothing at all to complain about but cannot really comment on amenities as did not get the chance to use any of them as I was there on business and out early in thr morning and ack late at night.

The room met our expectations, not big (size as described), clean, everything you need, also the bathroom. The location is perfect, close to a lot of good restaurants and close enough to the center. Breakfast was tasty with good selection. The staff was very professional and friendly. Overall it was a very nice stay.

Every morning there was a long line for the coffee, there was only one coffee machine. The tables at the breakfast were not inviting (some free tables not prepared, no napkins, cutlery etc.). If that could be improved it would be great.

Although placed in the newer part of the city, the building is not too far from the center. About 10-12 crosses. However, there is at least a bus (21) that brings you to the center of the city in about 10 minutes.

The parking places are a little bit tight. There is no balcony and the window/glassdoor can be tilted only. Sometimes the room door does not open. It takes some time to get accustomed to the speed of card insertion/removal. Do not expect to see too many shops nearby.
