This hotel has recently been remodeled and is beautiful and clean. We were pleasantly suprised by the stunning view of the castle from the front of the hotel, where you can sit and enjoy a drink and relax. The location is perfect: quiet, but still close enough to walk to the main sites. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

You have to pay about 11-12 euros for parking and the parking lot is small and always full, we had to park our car twice somewhere not authorized and watch out when a car gets out so we can park

The Jufa Hotel is well located near to the centre of Salzburg, with a bed and breakfast feel (as they focus on corporate events in the daytime). You can start your day with an expansive continental style breakfast, including options such as Prosecco and waffles, which will get you set up for exploring the wealth of churches, museums and tourist spots that the city has to offer. The rooms are quite functional and comfortable, including a TV with a range of channels in various languages, and there is also a bar running throughout the day, with a children's playroom. The staff are friendly, and able to help non-German speakers.

There wasn't much we didn't like about the hotel, but we did feel that, as food options weren't available during the day, it would have been nice to have a fridge in the room.

The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, there were 2 bottles of water in the room (still & mineral). The hotel is a 10-minute walk to the city center. The hotel bar is open until midnight - we could have a drink and eat a tasty cake 😉 (almost every shop & restaurant is closing at 6 p.m.!). Parking is available and pretty cheap compared to other cities in Austria (11.80 EUR / day).

Nothing about the hotel. There are 2 electric vehicle stations, but they are owned by the city hall and you need a special card to activate the charging station.

The hotel is beautifully situated, just a short distance away from the old town and tourist attractions of Salzburg. From my room's windows, I had a splendid view of Hohensalzburg Fortress. While the hotel building isn't the newest, it is well-maintained and tastefully decorated. What's worth mentioning - wonderfully adapted to the needs of individuals with disabilities. The incorporation of numerous decorative elements related to Mozart is particularly noteworthy. There are many of them, but not overly so - everything is in good taste. The hotel staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Additionally, there's an on-site restaurant where you can order delicious Austrian dishes and excellent beer around the clock. In the morning, they offer a breakfast with high-quality products, catering to everyone's preferences. I thoroughly enjoyed Salzburg - during my next visit, I would gladly choose JUFA Hotel Salzburg City as my accommodation once again.

Very convenient hotel with parking and nearby the funicular and old town. The hotel staff were very nice at reception and provided clear instructions. The hotel rooms have AC, which worked well and were very necessary during the hotel summer. The rooms were also very clean, including the bathrooms, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast spread (for an additional price) is very large.

The breakfast is quite expensive (19EUR per person) based on other hotels that we have stayed in while in Austria, including in Vienna and Innsbruck.

The location is amazing. Easy parking and clean hotel.

I didn't like that they have the toilet separate from the rest of the bathroom. When you finish in the toilet, you have to exit and enter in the area of the rest of the bathroom to wash your hands. Personnel, one lady in the receptionist was pathetic. I had my name day and my woman asked if they can leave a bottle of wine and some fruits inside the room to celebrate as a surprise. The receptionist's reply was that they don't celebrate name days in Austria and that they need one month notice to prepare it. Simply tragic. The Iranian woman however who is the manager of the receptionist was very helpful when she learned about that. At last, the personnel is not smiling at all and on the bar they could hardly speak English.

The hotel is very clean and in a great location. The outside front terrace was an added bonus and is perfect for relaxing with a nice view of the fortress. The breakfast had a good range of food and could be taken on the terrace.

Not all the staff could speak English and they seemed a bit brusque. The pillows on the bed were very low and somewhat uncomfortable and we had to fold them, but that's a personal preference.

Location is quiet & close to the "Old Town" & some restaurants.

Room is a little small. Per description in Booking.com, when hotel was booked, breakfast can be purchased @ €15.5. However , at point of check in, the breakfast rate was increased to €19.50. The staff at check-in counter indicated that the rate was increased in the month of May ( checked in on May 7th ) while the booking was done in Feb 2023. I feel the rate should remain @ €15.50. We have a total of 3 rooms booked for 6 persons, so we have decided to go out to eat.

Great location - short walk to the historic part of town and all of the sights. Set back from the road, so very quiet. Got to the room only to find that we had a view of the fortress above town! My daughter was thrilled. Staff was helpful checking us in. Rooms were clean and next to each other, plus they offered a triple, which we needed. The breakfast was good and offered long hours. It was very nice to sit in the bar and night and unwind at the end of the day - lots of room for sitting in the lobby area. We even got snacks there one night. It was close enough to the historic area that we would go back and forth a few times a day. It was a very busy time or year - Christmas weekend - but the common areas were never over crowded or loud.
