Great price, good clean family room and nice to have access to the bar and games room too. Staff were excellent, really friendly and knowledgable. Handy shopping mall nearby which also contained a supermarket.

The location is a bit scary. Particularly in the evening. No denying it’s incredibly convenient if you came by train or wish to travel that way onwards but for us (family of 4 on a European road trip with 2 kids) the area outside the hostel just felt dangerous and pretty rough. Due to our roof box/vehicle height we couldn’t use the underground car park and had to park on a nearby street overnight. I wouldn’t recommend! We were genuinely concerned as to whether our car would still be there or in once piece in the morning!! (It was - phew!) The hostel itself does feel very safe and clean inside and also perfectly appropriate for kids too which I was concerned about initially. Not too much noise in the corridors (at least not the night we spent there).

Located very close to the Charleroi central train station and bus stop for A1 which goes to/from airport, just a 5 minute walk and easy to find. Check in process was okay when got to reception. Private room was spacious and clean, en suite shower was very good, nice water pressure and temperature. Lots of plugs and light by the bed. Mattress and pillow comfy. Table and chairs in room. Breakfast buffet was very good, crepes, bread, fruit, spreads, ham/cheese, coffee machine and fruit juice machine and water.

Signs on door when we arrived at 11pm said reception was closed and door was closed and there were no instructions how to check in and open door, however we figured out we can press the bell button to open the door. Clearer signage for late arrivals is needed. Room was very hot at night as no air con. So windows open and got bitten by mosquitoes in the night. There is no kitchen or facilities to cook, make your own meal or snacks, no fridge, no hot water to make coffee/tea... For a hostel this is not good. They expect you to buy all drinks and snacks etc from the bar. Communal facilities even if just a kettle and cups would be a welcome addition. No towels or hand soap provided. You have to make own bed with sheets provided at check in.

It is less than 5 mins from station, the facilities were excellent. Staff were excellent, it was really good value for money. Breakfast was a continental breakfast but a buffet style. Still worth every penny.

There is nothing in the town, a couple of restaurants. Fast food places, a shopping centre next door, supermarket open till 730pm a 5 min walk. That's about it. Train fares are 20 euros to Brussels return 2 trains just over an hour.

I really liked the hostel's smart design and artistic vibe. It made the hostel really special. The common area had something to offer, e.g. table tenis, board games, TV, computers, table soccer. The breakfast was also very nice. Thank you for creating such an amazing hostel!

We didn't receive covers for the blankets (only the bed sheets and pillows' covers). It would also be appreciated to have at least one hand towel in the room.

The hostel is very close to the railway station Charleroi Center and to the station of bus A1 that goes to/from the airport. This is a basic accommodation (for example, there is no soap in the bathroom, and towels are provided for an additional payment of 1.50€), but my goal was just to sleep one night in a single room before going to the airport in the morning. The room was absolutely quite (no noise from other rooms or from outside), the bed was simple but comfortable, the breakfast was in fact very good for this category (bread, ham, cheese, pancakes, jam, etc.) To summarize, the hostel completely met my expectations.

It was our first stay in a hostel, so I couldn't compare it to any similar accommodation. The location and late check in as well as early check out suited us. It was clean, quiet and ok for a few hours of sleep. In the morning, there was coffee, tea and some snacks in the dining room because breakfast is served from 7am, and we left earlier. The staff was a bit confused, asking us to pay even though it had already been done before. But, it doesn't matter, they quickly understood and everything was ok. Really good location for those traveling by plane or train.

Price, because some better hotels are cheaper.

I missed my flight due farmer’s protest, and I was not the only one.All the low cost / nearby accommodation was sold out already and needed to find asap around 9PM something safe and affordable within reasonable distance from the CRL airport/ Airport shuttle bus (without knowing the area). The Hostel was a good choice from all these aspects. Easy booking and check in process, clean environment, good breakfast, nice staff, I was even able to work next morning on my laptop in the lobby (good internet). The hostel accommodate people of all age. Good shower.

I booked a full (twin) room for 81 EUR - ok for same day booking, not so great for the room you get. Twin rooms normally used as a dorm with 4 bunk beds and sold as twins if needed. The design is offputting, purely functional, all dark grey and industrial (the common areas are nice and appear friendly). A middle sized towel costs 1,5 EUR. The place was relatively quiet when I arrived after 11 PM but you hear all kind of noises from the other rooms during the night, people arriving late and leaving early.

We didn't expect having such a good experience in a hostel. Super friendly staff, bar by the reception open till 1a.m. with various kinds of really good belgium beers. Super cozy room with comfortable mattresses, bathroom in and cozy lobby by the bar, basic continental breakfast but enough to fill your stomach. Perfect location, right in the centre, train station and main square 5 min walking from.

The doors from the room and bathroom having this open space on the bottom so the whole night the light from the corridor and the bathroom (it was automatic light and after using it in the night still stayed ON for a long time) was coming into the room so kind of difficult to sleep if you need complete darkness for it.

Great value for money overall. Location: perfect! Next to the main train station of Charleroi. Straight line to go Brussels downtown. Breakfast: not a wide variety, but it has a couple of delicious options to start your day. Cleanliness great, staff polite and friendly, willing to help. No amenities in the room, but it s ok, it s a hostel!! I would definitely recommend it!

I have nothing to indicate. I was very satisfied at all.
