This B&B is very beautiful, in a centuries' old monumental yet comfortable building with everything the modern traveler would expect. A 3 minute walk around the corner of all the historic tourist attractions of Gent. The host and hostess are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. And the city of Gent is probably one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited!

It's a historic and old house, so you do hear some sounds from cracking wooden floors and staircases. And some street sounds from kids and cars, during the day.

Annik and Kristof have a lovely home and are good hosts. What a beautiful place to return to after exploring Ghent all day! I wish we had atleast one extra day! Lovely and I would return! The nice lotion and cotton rounds available in the bathroom were very helpful. I always remember a woman’s touch like this. Delicious breakfast in a beautiful kitchen. Everything was just right! We had a chance to chat a few times with Annik who is such a warm person, we felt the same about Kristof. You can’t go wrong staying here.

So happy I found this little hidden gem to spend my night in Ghent. I booked it very last minute, but Annik and Kristof were super friendly and even let me check in early. I really recommend having breakfast here as well, with home made yoghurt and freshly pressed orange juice. The service was amazing, and so much better than staying in a regular hotel. I really had such a lux experience, and Annik and Kristof went above and beyond with making me feel welcome. I still think about it, two weeks after. Thank you, and see you again!

The house exudes breathtaking beauty in every aspect. Every corner and crevice has been meticulously crafted with the utmost attention to detail. The choice of materials is opulent, enhancing the overall luxurious atmosphere. Our experience was nothing short of amazing, and the breakfast provided catered to our every need. Additionally, the hosts were exceptionally friendly, adding a warm and welcoming touch to our stay.

Great location, very comfortable room in a tastefully furnished accommodation. Welcoming and helpful hosts Delicious breakfast in a fun setting - relaxing around the kitchen table and chatting to the hosts Rooftop garden was ideal for a relaxing drink on arrival And we appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee - and little cakes - laid out in the elegant sitting room.

Ganda has lovely comfortable rooms in a gorgeous old house and the best bed we slept in during 2 months of travel. It’s also in a very good, quiet location where you can walk to everything and a good base for day visits to Gent and Ypres and the Flanders fields. Annik and Kristof are wonderful-so generous, helpful and friendly.

Dear Kristof, we miss the quiet mornings and the excellent breakfast at your lovely house! It was an excellent beginning to our vacation - living in this charming sanctuary while exploring Ghent during the Gentse Feste. The room was very cosy with the old fireplace and a big soft bed - although very warm during the 30+ something heatwave in July. And the roof terrasse was a nice place to relax. We really hope to get a chance to return someday, looking forward to see you then :-)

Nothing, no minuses at all.

It came as a happy surprise when I stepped inside this 18 century old house hotel. The hotel room is well quite and spacious. The bed is very comfortable and I had a good sleep after 15 days of travel. The home made breakfast is delicious. It was a very comfortable stay. Thank you, Annik And Krisgof! Ying

we were warmly greeted by the host, he was super nice, friendly and helpful! The breakfast was really nice: it is set up for you personally and it’s very varied! The location is right in the centre where everything is happening, so you’re close to everything.

The room was more standard than expected and we were underwhelmed compared to our expectations from the pictures. We liked the style they were going for, but it seemed a bit unfinished to us. The bathroom was ok and clean, with a basic set up of supplies, although was missing a conditioner. The shower was disappointing as it was a very basic normal shower like most would have at home, which is a shame as you could see there was a nice plan for the bathroom and it had cute details, but the shower did not live up to it. So in it’s current state, I thought the price was rather high, but if these details would be finished and polished, it would be worth the value.
