The property was small and personal, with exceptional attention to detail. Staff were incredibly friendly and was attentive to our needs, we felt really welcomed. The European style breakfast complete with meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, pancakes and baked goods was exceptional with the best scrambled eggs we’ve ever tasted. They even catered on request for a gluten free member of our group.

The room we stayed in had a pretty awkwardly placed shower head that wasn’t conducive to a relaxing hot shower, but this wouldn’t stop us visiting again and in fact we already plan to return.

Very comfortable, modern and clean hotel. Our room was upgraded to a family suite which was a lovely surprise. Safe parking on site, great breakfast and lovely staff. We used this hotel as a convenient stopover en route home and only 1.5 hrs from the euro tunnel. We would use again.

There is a restaurant on site which was very pricey, we also got charged for two items we didn’t have amounting to 30eu but this was amended when we informed them. Next time we would find an alternative place to eat.

I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff, who went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The location of the hotel was perfect for me, as it was surrounded by open spaces of grassland and farmland, providing a peaceful and tranquil environment. Despite being close to the main road, the hotel felt secluded and allowed me to escape from the hustle and bustle of the nearby cities. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large bed that ensured a good night's sleep.

One thing that I think the hotel could improve on is providing information about the cost of charging electric cars in their parking lot. As an electric car owner, I would have appreciated knowing this information in advance.

Beautifully appointed with an attractive breakfast room which served excellent breakfasts and truly exceptional staff. Parking was excellent and the adjacent restaurant of the highest quality, again with outstanding staff… some of the best food we have experienced on numerous European trips.

The property was all we could have wished for. We were anxious turning into the road from the fast lane, on the first occasion it seemed to surprise the driver behind!

We are a family of 5 and this hotel was perfect for passing through to the next city. Loved that we all got to stay in the same room and had 2 floors! Bottom floor- queen bed, closets, bathroom. Top floor- 1 queen, 1 twin, crib, TV, couch, table and fridge. Very helpful receptionist who checked us in. It was clean and spacious. We were greeted by a lovely lady for breakfast and a table already set for us. Colors and paper for our toddler. Delicious breakfast. Hearty and light options. Parking is right next to hotel, spacious and able to see our vehicle from our room. Beautiful location, had some ponies next property. Could only imagine what it looks like in the fall. We had rain. Cute restaurant right next to hotel and it was booked up but they were kind to let us order and take back to room. Delicious food but more for adults. As mentioned in previous reviews this staff really does go above and beyond and makes your stay, felt warm and welcoming. Thank you all, my kids loved this place.

This hotels bathroom and bed were clean but room was very dusty. It could also benefit from some upgrades and fixings.

Stayed one night on our way further north. It's near a fairly busy dual carriageway but the rooms are soundproofed and air conditioned and look out over fields and greenery; it's modern, tranquil and we even had time for a relaxing walk in the woods. Everyone (two adults, two teenagers) had a great night's sleep and the breakfast was superb. Would definitely stay again if we're doing a similar route.

The location is great, feels like you are in the countryside but with all the comfort you need and close to the big city. Everything is clean, rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. I highly appreciate the kindness and helpfulness of Katrine, the hotel manager, who welcomed us even if we arrived slightly later than the max check-in time. The breakfast was gorgeous, with enough choices, and with a special corner for the local food.

Very nice hotel with large, modern rooms, and a very good restaurant next door. Breakfast was very good, and they had no problem catering for my food allergies. The restaurant next to the hotel is very special, with excellent food, very friendly owners, and a lovely interior. Plenty of parking spaces. The hotel/restaurant is next to a main road, so it's not completely peaceful (although out in the countryside). However, the room was perfectly quiet at night and has air conditioning. Great location for exploring the area.

Nothing - we will return!

Very friendly welcome, easy and plentiful parking, comfortable good sized room and bathroom, excellent breakfast. Location suited us perfectly, looking to break our journey enroute to northern Netherlands, about an hour and a bit from Eurotunnel Calais
