When traveling with the car, most Hotels in Mechelen have no parking close by. You have to park in a parking garage, which is expensive and inconvenient. The Hobbit Hotel is very close to the Industrial area in Mechelen North and has a big parking area right in front of the Hotel. The Rooms are great, bed was fantastic with the perfect softness and high pillows. Everything was very clean, the service was more than excellent, people super friendly and also the breakfast was great. I will definitely stay in the Hobbit Hotel again when I visit Mechelen next time.

There isn't really anything I didn't like.

Very kind staff & management. The rooms have been very comfortable & clean & the breakfast didn’t leave any wishes open. The whole hotel is in a good & modern condition. You can rent bikes, the bus-stop is around the corner & enough parking spots are at hand. Since it has been the time of the summer holidays we didn’t hear much traffic noise.

Although the room has been equipped with a pretty efficient fan, it got quite warm inside. You can’t open the windows fully & there’s no sun-screen on the building, or air-conditioning inside. The management knows that problem & has reported it already to the main owner of this hotel-group…let’s hope that they will improve here. As soon as the temperatures go up to more than 25degrees outside this is a major inconvenience.

The room is very clean, and big enough. The breakfast is very good, several choices. The beds were ust perfect, but not the pillows. The were a little too hard.

The pillows as mentioned above. I will had prefer to be offered the option to also book the breakfasts from Booking.com Surely, I could have pay less than the 15 € per morning.

The receptionists were the best. They let us check in earlier and check out later to better fit our trip. Very friendly and attentive, they helped us order dinner and offered us drinks. Very polite and professional. Without a doubt, very good people who made the stay more enjoyable.

The man on reception was the best receptionist I ever met. I was not happy with the room we got (the road side), and the receptionist showed me and suggested all other available rooms. Also I forgot the toothbrush and he gave me one. It could not be any better.

the room is clean. it contains everything needed except air conditioning. . the staff was really polite and helpful;

It just miss air conditionning for warm days. I went there on a very warm day and it felt like a sauna in the room.

This hotel is excellent and most conveniently located for people travelling by car and wanting to visit Mechelen, Antwerp or Brussels, or simply on their way to the international airport, as we were. Great breakfast too, and very friendly staff.

Comfortable well equipped room. Breakfast options more than I was expecting . There was a choice of eggs either fried, omelette etc. Staff were friendly and very helpful in helping us to find somewhere to eat in the evening

Instructions for the WI-FI were difficult to find

Good loaction for my porpuse of travel. Gratis parking place. Attention of personal was super excellent. No problem at all with wifi and services all quite good.

Didnt like the pillows. Belive need to make a change of it.

The room was very clean, comfortable, had a great bed and a clean bathroom. The hotel is situated next to the highway exit, with enough parking space. The personel was extremely friendly and helped us fast. We highly recommend.
