Location was very good. Walks and hikes could start at the hotel. The caves - which were worthwhile - were just around the corner. Breakfast was good, not abundant, but everything you needed was there. I liked the nice lady that attended breakfast 🙂. Dinner was very good, the restaurant was very stylish. We enjoyed a drink on the nice terrace, after our walk. Although our room was at the back (no view), it was very quiet because you did not have the streetnoise. The room was very clean and everything was there that you needed. Good beds. We loved the well kept unique character of the house. Even the toilets on the ground floor were still maintained in the old style, so nice. The owners were very nice.

In the middle of both nights that we stayed, we heard people talk lively in the attic above our room.

The hotel is an exceptional one. Its walls talk history. I had a wonderful room and a very spacious bathroom. Breakfast was typically continental. The restaurant cuisine is impeccable and the restaurant itself is so beautiful.

I was there on a long weekend and it was extremely busy. One could see that they had a lack of staff, especially during the day, and there were some delays in serving. Moreover, some waiters can work under stress and still be friendly but others can be rude.

It's a very well preserved hotel +250 years old and with authentic elements. The room was very cosy with a very fancy bathroom (jacuzzi and italian shower). We had dinner at the restaurant, professional service and tasteful food with a good variety of options. High standard wine options, we loved it! Parking wise there are plenty of options (in front of the hotel or along the street). Lovely view on the river and forest.

We had some troubles sleeping at first since the guests next door were very noisy - but that's not the hotel's fault, unrespectful guests are everywhere :( Maybe they should consider isolating the floor a bit more but again, it was not their fault.

Nice location, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious as well. Breakfast was good and dinner in the restaurant was tasty and affordable.

Not all staff speaks English which makes communication a bit challenging at times. Certain interior aspects could use a bit of updating, such as the damaged upholstery in the breakfast location.

Great staff and great restaurant, although it was a bit difficult to communicate in English. Also, amazing location with very authentic atmosphere. Parking available for free right in front of the hotel.

The room could really use some renovation. Also, was super cold and after a couple of hours, the electric sockets stopped working and there was no heeting anymore. Also, breakfast could have been better, found some rotten fruit, which was disgusting.

This is a lovely old traditional hotel. The dining room is exceptional!

unfortunately the hotel bar and restaurant are closed on a Wednesday. Stayed here last year and the restaurant was fantastic. Also, last year, enjoyed having a cold beer on the terrace!

Excellent location near to attractions and main roads,Comfortable bed, hot powerful shower,good breakfast, very helpful and friendly host, plenty of free parking outside the hotel. Petrol station and super market nearby.

Nothing to dislike.

Contrary to some reviews, the staff was very friendly and helpful! The dinner at the terrace was very good, Service prompt! Recommended! Room spacious. hotel old style with the charm of the past. Breakfast was good. Although on a busy location, with the dubble glass it was quite inside.

Beautiful hotel, perfectly located at the center of the town. Friendly staff, great beds and a very good breakfast. It is also truly a beautiful area to stay.

Wifi was unfortunately not working during my stay.

The staff was very friendly! We arrived very late and the staff helped us bringing our bags to the room. After a good night, we enjoyed the breakfast. The location of the hotel is great and the whole building is "breathening" an historic atmosphere. We will come back one day!
