Location was great! 3 minutes from the sea. Breakfast was delicious. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Everything worked. Housekeepers would come everyday per your wishes. Swimming pool was clean and fun. They had tables set up so you could drink coffee and watch the water in morning. So much fun

I honestly can't think of anything. I plan to go back and stay at Tropical Paradise again.

Right at the top of the little strip that makes up the commercial area of Caye Caulker. Most staff were helpful. The restaurant on site on the premises was adequate but the staff were EXCEPTIONAL! They were lovely... helpful and funny. They were much more helpful than the staff of the hotel.

I booked a $100 snorkel trip on the boat for the next morning then got a bit sick the night before. I told them I might not be able to go on the boat. They had advance notice. But the next morning, they refused to give me even a partial refund. That seemed counter-productive of them if they want happy guests and good reviews! Also, they are constructing a swimming pool and the noise was really loud. Drill, saws and hammers going all day. I would recommend you wait until after the construction was finished before staying there!

Each room is its own little cabana with a nice bathroom. The air conditioner and fan kept the rooms very comfortable. We could see the ocean from the covered entryway. Each room had a chair on the covered entryway which was nice to sit on and enjoy the view and breeze and read or just chill. The hotel gave us 2 rooms located right next to each as we requested. The hotel is located at the far south end of Front street which means you have to walk to everything. It was about a 20 min walk to get the the north end and The Split. This meant the area around the hotel is pretty quiet which can be blessing or a curse depending on your view. It did mean that after a long, tiring day of snorkeling that we didn't feel like walking to the main area for dinner. However, the restaurant at the hotel is really pretty good so we didn't mind eating in. The staff, especially at the bar and restaurant, were friendly and helpful. They really made the stay at the Tropical Paradise pleasant. There are also a couple good restaurants and a market within a block or so of the hotel so you have everything you really need within a couple minute walk of the hotel.

Our rooms could have been brighter and more airy. There was a good sea breeze but the rooms didn't really benefit from it and we had to run the air conditioners (which worked very well). We would just have preferred to have a natural sea breeze in the rooms. It looked like a couple of the cabanas in the front row by the ocean got really nice breezes. The location of the hotel is pretty far south from the more populated, happening north end by the Split so you have to walk to everything.

located a little bit farther from the center but if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing place, tropical paradise is one i would recommend. very helpful and friendly staff, has a private beach in fron and a pool coming soon! 5 minute walk to the center /dock, this place sure is ideal for a relaxing vacation!

pool construction in progress, some noise during the day but since i was out most of the time, wasnt really a problem.

We stayed here during hurricane Lisa The owner and staff were vigilant in their preparation‘s and accommodations. During the peak of the hurricane we decided to take them up on their offer of the cement building for safety reasons and water starting to come in our unit. Justin and the boys got the generator running but we declined the air conditioning and opened the windows instead for a breeze. There was a swat team that cleaned up the next morning. I tried to help but broke the broom. Obviously not up to Canadian standards ha ha We laughed a lot with the staff and morale was high while the streets were empty and everyone hunkered down.

You get what you pay for. There are some nails sticking up here and there so footwear is advised.

Tropical Paradise recently added a pool and pool bar (the only one on the island) and added some new seating by the ocean. Really great upgrades! I stayed in Unit 20 and the bathroom was updated with a separate walk-in shower. There was also a jacuzzi tub room available behind the bed area. The staff are very friendly and helpful!!

I stayed in Unit 20 where I've stayed before and there were just a few minor items - the absence of a towel hook outside the shower, the fridge didn't work, and the bed was a bit too firm.

The hotel looks very cool, you stay in looking like cabins. The rooms include air conditioning and fans. Everything is very clean. Hot shower all the time. The staff is cleaning up the room everyday. There's a pool outside that is available to use all the time. The staff was nice and welcoming. Location is central yet quite. It's not cheap but it's one of the cheapest in the island.

There's a smell of seaweed in the outside area of the hotel. It didn't bother us at all, but if you're really sensitive to these kinds of things you should know that. Also there's a semitary very close to the hotel that you always see when you pass by the entrance. There's no free drinking water there, only refeels of your own bottle that cost money.

The bungalow style room was really great! Rooms were really spacious. Being located right next to the sea was a massive bonus. having access to the deck chairs and the pontoon to swim in the sea was excellent. the pool was really nice, and so awesome to have a beach bar where you can sit on a stool in the pool! The property is well kept - it feels like a proper resort. Not to mention, it is UNBELIEVABLE value for money!!

I seriously don’t understand some of the bad reviews ! We had an excellent time at the Tropical Paradise. Clean rooms, perfect location, a nice pool with some sun loungers and a bar with a great happy hour ! The room had AC and the bed was comfortable. The staff were nice too.

I got a bit annoyed by a group of clients who were pretty obnoxious with the staff, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

The hotel has its own beachfront, with a small pier where you can sunbath or swim in the sea. The bungallows were convienent and had own terrace. The hotel offers great programs, we did the full day and the half day snorkeling too. In both cases, we were 4 in the boat. The other companies are doing it with 10-20 people. So if you stay in this hotel book the local tours.

There could be more shelves in the gardrobe.
