Hotel staff were friendly and responsive to our requirements. They helped us to arrange for an early check in (which is a paid option but that's fine I guess), along with a reasonably priced airport transfer. They even offer a breakfast box for guests like us who had an early flight and couldn't eat breakfast at the hotel. We had issues with a leaky shower head and unstocked shampoo but those issues were resolved very quickly. The hotel also has a nice lobby lounge with an assortment of tea which is very nice. Wifi was strong. Location is very central.

Main quibble is that we were assigned to rooms on the third and fourth floor. The lift only stops at the second floor, which meant having to climb stairs going in or out of the room.

We were in La Paz for several days and did daily tours from there and the hotel was great for that. It is located very close to all the relevant tour operators (where the pick up usually is early in the mornings). Quiet at night, nice shower (clean bathroom) and comfortable beds. The radiator was also much appreciated. When we had a I-phone related emergency the porter took us to an apple-shop (bc it was located in a not so safe part of the city) and stayed with us until the problem was solved.

The buffet breakfast was very good. There was a nice assortment of breads, cereal, juice, hot items including scrambled eggs and bacon, and coffee/tea. If scrambled eggs aren’t your favorite, you could request an alternative. I really liked the style of architecture which included beautiful woodwork and local/ancient customs. Hotel is in the heart of LaPaz, making it easy to enjoy and shop at local street vendors. When I first arrived, I didn’t have hot water. I told the desk, and it a Was immediately fixed. Even though the May 1st celebration was going on all day while I was there, they put me on the back side of the hotel which allowed me to enjoy peacefully. I spent several days in LaPaz during the month of September, including At the Ritz. .

I would have liked the restaurant to serve dinner also, but the staff helped me get something to go.

Such a nice hotel, could not wish for a better oasis in La Paz. Even though you are in the middle of the city, the calmness behind the hotel doors is unbeliavable. The rooms are great, with a genuine and stylish Bolivian interior. Comfortable beds and warm blankets. We used also the electric heater in the room and it became really warm and comfy. Breakfast was great too, with a good variation of fruit, bread and cereals! An extra plus for the staff. They are really kind, professional and they really make an effort to help out so that you get the best possible stay in La Paz. For an example they helped us with taxis, ordering food to the hotel, storing our luggage etc. It was great having TV and wifi, but it would be an extra plus if they had a smartTV with Youtube and Netflix in the rooms. I got used to that in other hotels. But honestly this is just a minor thing.

The staff here was excellent. They were very attentive for my short stay. Since I was leaving early morning for my flight I was going to miss breakfast. Without asking they offered me a bagged breakfast to take with me. They also provided me with a wake up call to ensure I did not over sleep. The building is beautiful and the rooms are clean and decorated with traditional Bolivian decor. Very lovely place to stay

Fantastic stay. Beautiful hotel and very confortable room. Very well located for tourism. Staff very helpfull. We had a early flight and they offered us a breakfast box withoi us even asking. Breakfast is just ok. not bad, but nothing special.

The room dont have a mini fridge. The person in the reception went out to buy dinner everynight around 8pm and the hotel stayed closed. We couldnt get on for 10 minutes

Great location. Very helpful staff. Very clean. Very comfortable room. It was very cold and the radiator helps. Bathroom was a little tight but functional. Room was spacious.

Climbing up the stairs to the 3rd floor. But it was an upgraded room but had to catch my breath. Bringing down the luggage wasn't east. The hallway can get dark but sensor comes on in the middle.

The hotel has an elegant colonial house vibe. If it well located to visit the san sebastian neighborhood (including the witches market) or to take the teleferica. The textile decors are very pretty, breakfast is nice and the room is equipped with a heater. Kudos to the very supportive staff!

We were not picked up at airport as promised and waited 90 minutes before we got our own taxi. Waiting in 4200 m coming directly in from sea level, is not the best start for adapting to the altitude.

The hotel looked like an oasis comparing to the rest of the area Is located very centrally next to the witches marker Breakfast was ok and stuff was helpful.

The floor was very slippery we slipped multiple times in our one night stay Although centrally located the area around is actually very dirty and noisy I found it a little expensive considering the value for money
