comfy beds, hot showers, welcome drink is great initiative to meet people
part of the staff was very unfriendly (guy with earring and girl with glitter in eyes, usually in the evening). when I asked for help with the busses, they started laughing and referred to TicketsBolivia. com - well, thanks. The Kitchen was very bad equipped, there was no cutlery at all. it is very noisy, but I guess this is a La Paz overall problem. booked a private 2x and the room was always way smaller than on the pictures.

Everything, it is a huge hostel, the bed was comfortable, the hot shower was available, everything was clean, there is also a sharing kitchen and library in the lobby where you can chill. And the best thing what I appreciated was a heater! Despite the cold weather outside during the night was really warm in the hostel. :) The receptionist was kind, I came about 11:00 (check-in is at 15:00) just to put my baggage there but he told me that I can even go to my room. :) When I left the hostel I needed to put my baggage there until the evening and it was without any problem. There is also a welcome drink - unfortunately I didn't have time for that.

Selina really take care of you. From welcome drinks, free salsa classes, delicious fresh healthy food, to letting you store your bags there and take a shower even days after staying there. When I suffered from Moderate altitude sickness they had oxygen to give me and they sent me to a pharmacy where I could find medication. Without Selina’s helpful staff I’d have nowhere to go at 5am when arriving in La Paz.
The only negative is that if you get a room facing the street, the noise of the traffic is quite bad. Better sound insulation might help.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The building and decor is fabulous. I stayed in a private room and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. The hostel breakfast and cafe downstairs is amazing and the food is excellent. The staff are all very friendly, especially Alex!
My room was on the first floor and was extremely loud from Thursday - Sunday night due to the nightclub below the hostel. Co-working is a little expensive per day, would be great if they offered half-day passes.

More of a hotel feel to it as it’s spread over at least 6+ floors. Great having a cafe downstairs for basic but nice food and drinks. Decent communal kitchen too & the dorm rooms were decent. Helpful staff answered any questions I had & the issue below was rectified very well I thought.
We had one unfortunate incident during my stay where the sewage system leaked from the top of the building down the entire stairwell & into certain bedrooms (including mine). *Despite this unpleasant smelling issue, I saw plumbers there within the hour & the staff did an excellent job of cleaning up all the mess, leaving no obvious trace of the incident including the smell.

The bed was super big and comfortable and rain shower was a lovely surprise. The cafeteria served a wide variety of food, which was nice and healthy. The option to refill water bottles was greatly appreciated.
Some of the staff at reception were not the most enthusiastic. We booked a walking tour and we were not given the voucher to prove we had booked the tour. The tour guide was reluctant to let us join. As well as that, we arrived late at night to be told we needed to download an app in order to check in. The Wi-Fi and the entire process was slow. The person who was there at check in did not explain how the hostel worked - where the bar/restaurant was, or how breakfast or booking tours worked, which was very disappointing. We did not see the bar until the day we left.

- Nice double bedroom, with a powerful hot shower and blackout blinds - Kitchen facilities were good (could do with some extra bowls!) - Staff were excellent. Helped us to organise trips, and gave us advice on getting to Copacabana & doing the cable cars
- Not a great atmosphere to meet others - Felt the room could’ve been slightly cleaner - Yoga is scheduled each day, but when I turned up to a session it wasn’t on. I was told I had to sign up an hour before (no one told us this at check in!)

-nice bathroom with hot shower -restaurant on site -water refill for 5 bolivianos -good kitchen -staff kept everyone well informed about the protests -ATM and laundry place across the street, supermarket not far away
-My bed was horribly sqeaky! I could not move/turn around/get up without waking up the whole room. -The guy at reception for my checkin was not very friendly and didn't give me any information where to find what in this huge hostel -A bit far from centre, 10 min walk to nearest teleférico-station

Veeery comfy beds, nice pillows, curtains at the bunk beds, individual lights and shelf near the pillow. Good, hot showers with high water pressure. Beautiful common spaces. Great WiFi. Safe location. Better value for money than most.
Even though there was ample availability, I was not allowed to do an early check-in after arriving early morning by night bus. Was a very tough morning. The bathroom/room were not cleaned during my three night stay, only the trash was emptied and the beds made. Soap dispenser broken, plugs very unsteady. Taps in bathroom make very loud, whizzing noises. Hate the way Selina tries to force their app onto all their guests...

The vibe and interior is lovely. The food they serve is excellent with plenty of vegan options as well. The restaurant staff is very friendly. Our room had a nice view and the bed was comfy.
At arrival early in the morning we requested an early check-in (since we had no luggage and the night bus arrived earlier than estimated). They promised check in at 12.00h but after asking multiple times throughout the day, we were only able to check-in after 15.00h (little bit later even than the regular check-in). This was a big disappointment.
