We honestly lovely everything. The rooms were clean and spacious and the whole place was quiet and chilled. Dacia was an incredible host, she made us feel so welcome and helped us with anything we needed. The breakfast was genuinely amazing, and we found ourselves looking forward to our breakfast more than we did eating out in Rio! Initially we were skeptical as there are so many 5 star reviews, and we were also unsure on the area. But upon staying here we had nothing to be concerned about; the excellent reviews are beyond justified and I’m actually really glad we stayed in Santa Teresa as it was such a nice area, quieter and cleaner than the downtown areas, with a quirky vibe that was really nice to be in. It wasn’t too much hassle to get from the apartment to downtown either - a short walk and a train or an Uber straight to wherever you need to go. I genuinely can’t recommend this place enough!

CasaJOMO is in a great location in Santa Teresa on a quiet street. Very spacious clean room with three massive comfortable beds and a bathroom with a bath and large shower. Would be great for a family. Very clean and nice shampoos/soaps. Breakfast was delicious! We got a choice which was served plated to our table, pancakes, which was a nice break from the buffet style we'd come to expect in Brazil. We had dinner in the b&b which was a selection of very flavoursome salads, bean salads and BBQ'd veg and meats. Amazing outdoor rooftop space for breakfast and drinks at night, overlooking Santa Teresa. Thank you for hosting us :)

This is a very nice family place in a nice neighborhood (Santa Teresa). It is in the upper area of the town surrounded by a lot of small local restaurants and bars, easily reachable by bus, tram, taxi or Uber. The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is different every day. There is a pool and nice and cosy rooms with private bath and aircon. It is not a fancy hotel but more a B&B. But even for business travelers it offers sufficient comfort if you prefer staying in a family owned place.

location is perfect in Santa Teresa, the host is super helpful / very kind and has done an amazing job at decorating the hotel . the pool is a big plus and the breakfast is very good (pancakes one day, always with fruit, we had omelette another day). its an intimate hotel since not many rooms

Casa Jomo is a charming place. With a pleasant and spacious area, with seats all around and greenery, which makes it very comfortable. It is easy to feel at home. Dacia and her family are excellent hosts. The breakfast is delicious and creative. The place is also very clean with and equipped with all you need for your stay. Absolutely recommended and will definitely be back!

Super host of a very cost B&B, very friendly and helpful. The place looks really cool and the room (for us) was comfortable and big. Breakfast with a lot of variation and very tasteful (catering to our vegetarian / vegan preference).

big room, great location on the top of the hill, pool option, delicious breakfast freshly cooled by the owner!!! we spent the evening on the terrace and enjoyed the nature and the sky 🌌

Amazing place to stay! My favourite in Rio! The house is really quiet, well decorated, very comfortable. Dacia is a really nice host and she speaks English and French very well, which is a plus.
