I have to say that from arrival to departure in general everything is really very good. they have also thought about the safety issue for the guests, the surveillance and safety of the electronic system that they have adopted in the lift to go to the various floors. Really very comfortable beds, memory pillow and mattress, excellent quality, the room had a sea view, wonderful, air conditioning. The food fantastic, from the buffet breakfast service to the menu, really very satisfied. The staff really very courteous, thank you all, I will be back for sure, highly recommend.

I was quite pleased with the location as we had a sea view room, which was lovely! The breakfast was also very very nice--fresh eggs to order and a wonderful spread of fruits. The beach attendant was awesome--I have never had an attendant that dowsed me with water to cool me off while I lay on my beach chair, this was amazing! The location was also really nice, directly looking at and hearing the ocean was such wonderful. There were also several options for places to eat along the boardwalk although we found other eating options around the city and in Pelourinho. Getting around by Uber was very easy so staying at the beach but also having easy access to other areas was just perfect.

The pool is small and directly overlooks the street which isn't really depicted in the pictures but it was still nice. The beach is across the street but there is a wonderful attendant who supplies you with an umbrella and chairs. The breakfast was awesome but the actual restaurant is overpriced and the food is really pretty bad.

He is a really nice person and his quality service reinforced the positive rate that we consider for Monte Pascoal Hotel. He was able to speak more languages and his kindness was very impressive. We were welcomed with coconut water, caipirinhas and delicious cocada :) The room was very spacious with a wonderful view. Staff is super friendly, Dona Geisa, Seu Claudino and Dona Gil are wonderful. Breakfast was really good. Bathroom was big and water pressure was good.

The hotel offers a beach service what it's nice, but the place they have available for the guests was very dirty. It would be helpful to have towels available down there at the beach. Room was clean but there was a cockroach in our bathroom one night.

The hotel is in a great location, right on the beach and adjacent to the strip of restaurants and bar shops. The breakfast is great with many options to choose from. The room was also excellent. The hotel staff and housekeeping staff were especially kind and helpful when one of our party was sick during the night. I would very much recommended staying here, and will choose this hotel again when we next visit Salvador.

Check-in at 2pm was a bit too late for us, this would be my one suggestion for an improved experience for travellers arriving on early flights/buses.

very comfortable and good sized rooms. cleanliness was outstanding, lovely breakfast and best location. we received an urgent email after our checkout informing we left documents behind in the room. our passport were carefully looked after until we were able to collect them again! thank you Juliana for the professional and confidentiality with dealing with this issue. beautiful hotel! lovely views

location difficult to improve: across from beach, short walk from Barra Mall, Bompreço (grocery store); every room has some sea view; breakfast buffet; great security the place to stay if you want to hang w/ Brazilians

not dislikes, simply informational for US tourists the bountiful breakfast buffet is Brazilian: do not expect bacon & eggs or cereal as you know them: I had to literally stand next to the girl cooking omelets to finally get one that was not runny w/ uncooked egg whites the security is excellent, because the hotel is in a very popular location, but it can become extreme: two local friends came over to go to the beach with me, but only one could come up & use the shower due to the rule of only one visitor per room Their best English speaker, Carol, who had lived in Toronto, has left for a better job

The hotel appears brand new.Everything works well.Nothing shabby.Nothing needs repair. Sophisticated ,designer-like lobby area .Comfortable bed,high quality linens and pillows.Double -paned windows make bed room very quiet.Air con works very well.Restaurant overlooks the sea-wonderful way to start the day. The breakfast is geared to Brazilians,not international travelers - mostly sweet pastries and cakes-although the fruit selection was plentiful and varied. Having stayed in 4 other Salvador hotels over a month-long period I liked this hotel the best. It has a resort -like feel. In front of the hotel is a well-lighted pedestrian -only promenade which at night is a wonderful and safe place to stroll.

The hotel seemed slightly understaffed, employees stretched too thin. The hotel was very busy during my stay,but the hotel handled it fine.

Perfectly located in the heart of Barra. Stunning sea view from the restaurant and pool. You may want to book a full sea view room! Comfortable sun beds. Small, but nice pool. Most of the staff is really polite and helpful. Dealt great and professional with some issues we faced during our stay.

Cleanliness of the property (due to the Covid measures a lot of plastic garbage is marking the terraces floor) and the pool should be improved. Some hotel staff needs better training in hospitality and understanding of the current Covid pandemic (f.e. drinking cups at the pool bar have just been washed with plain water, without any detergent and then been reused) Lacks vegan options for breakfast (f.e. no veg milk, no magarine) All in all the hotel needs a refurbishment.
