- Nice and very spacious rooms - Nice breakfast which had variety, not the best ever had, but much above average

- The most awful coffee had - any combination with milk (latte/cappuccino) was extremely sweet, probably 100g of sugar in there or I don’t know what type of milk they are using (even the one in the container - we had chosen the parking but it is 200m away and the receptionist sometimes forgot to open it even though we notified him when left the reception. I needed to call or come back to ask again which is very annoying - I did not like the area, seemed a bit off

Hotel "Light" is a very pleasant hotel indeed. The room was very well-appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was decorated very nicely, it had a "boutique hotel" feel to it. Despite being near the centre of Sofia, the hotel is very quiet. It is also within easy walking distance of the Central Train Station and the Central Bus Station. The receptionist during my stay, a delightful young lady called Margarita, was very helpful and welcoming, which made my stay even more pleasant. I'd highly recommend Hotel "Light". - Bryan Hollamby, Northern Greece.

Everything was great, no negatives at all.

It's really close to city center. Breakfast was very tasty, anyone could find something to eat. Brownies were amazing, TRY THEM! Staff was very nice and cleaning lady did perfect job. You get clean towels and shampoo with shower gel every day.

The bed was too short. My height is 180cm and the legs exceeded the bed. The balcony was really small, it was like 50cm. Airport is so close to the city and you can hear planes fly right above the hotel. That's not hotels fault, but it bothered me and woke me up few times.

Location: Excellent. 12 minutes walk from Serdica Metro Stop or 5 minutes walk from Lavov Most Metro Stop. Tram Stop 5 minutes away Transport: We bought a 3 day transport card for 10 Lev that gives access to all Metro, Trams & Buses for 3 days. Check In Process: Very quick & efficient. I requested for a Kettle and received one while checking in. Room: Excellent. I requested for a room on a higher floor with balcony and received one which was great. There are a few English channels on the TV like CNN, Sky News, Al Jazeera which kept me on breast with what was happening in the world. Breakfast: Very good choice of food. cornflakes, oats, French toast, toast, croissant, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, cucumber, tomatoes, olives, yoghurt & much more. Restaurants: There are a few restaurants in Lavov Most. We caught Tram 12 or 18 from the Tram Stop at 5 minutes from the hotel and went to Vitosha Boulevard 3 tram stops away, where there was a huge number of options. House Keeping: Very good cleaning service. The rooms were cleaned up when we came back each evening. Check Out Process: Very quick

The quality of the orange juice & Benitsa could be improved. While sitting on the WC in room 45, the Toilet paper is behind you & you have to twist around to get it. The location of the Toilet paper could be changed to make it more convenient.

Friendly, reasonable proximity to main area., yet only a short walk from the bus station. The mini fridge was cheap, so not a worry if you had something from it. A nice continental spread for breakfast.

Lots of alcoholics hanging about late in the evening and the quiet side street corner stank of urine, I realise that it’s not in the hotels control, but later at night it wasn’t very nice. No English breakfast tea in the morning, or facilities to make a drink in your room. Only tried to use the coffee shop once was told it was closed.

This is a decent hotel, about a 10 minute walk to the centre of Sofia. The staff here are very friendly and very helpful. The room is a good size, plenty of space. The beds were comfortable. There is a fridge available also. There was no kettle but we were supplied with one when asked. Breakfast was OK, same menu everyday, but it was a decent choice of hot and cold foods.

The air con was very poor, barely getting any cool air into the room. Thankfully it wasn't too hot, but on a stifling hot day this room would have been very uncomfortable.

A very nice, convenient, clean hotel in the very center of Sofia. The breakfast is decent, the check-out time (12:00) is very convenient. All central objects can be achieved on foot, the railway and bus station are only some 15 minutes away (if you have a bulky suitcase, you might consider a taxi because of the uneven pavement). We will definitely stay here again when we come to Sofia next time.

A lovely hotel close to everything but on a quiet street, Serdica metro station was close by which goes directly to airport, and in the middle of everything, while the hotel is not new or glamorous, it’s very clean, AC worked great and the beds are comfortable. All the staff was nice and the breakfast buffet was also nice, it’s very cheap if you don’t have it included. Sofia was a lovely city and I hope to return one day, I’ll gladly stay at this hotel again if it’s available.

Great position, easy to get from/to the metro station (it is possible to take the train from the airport directly to the Serdika metro station), the main landmarks are at walking distance, comfortable beds and good price also for the mini bar (not so much choice there, but there is also a bar close to the reception if needed). Bathroom small but well equipped, the shower works well with a constant water temperature.

The breakfast doesn't have a wide choice, but it's OK to start the day.

The hotel was amazing. Breakfast was amazing. Hospitality was perfect. You can't find this quality hotel with this price anywhere else. Thank you light hotel workers for your hospitality. Especially stella was so helpful. We will definetely stay here next time. hotel is 10 minutes to city centre by walk. It means very close. We liked here. Rooms were very clean.

Parking area could be a problem. Hotel has parking lots ıt is 10/EUR for each day. other than that ıf you are lucky to find a place in front of hotel's entrance or roadside. It is also paid but more cheaper. We found a parking place like that. And stella helped us to fill a ticket for it. Don't forget to fill a parking ticket and put it on your car's shield.
