Close to Sofia Central train and bus stations and metro stations are nearby. Have of the metro is above ground in Sofia however the engineers design it so you can not see the city as you come in from the airport. The metro from the airport is fast and very inexpensive forget taxi/bus shuttles check routes on the internet before visiting Sofia and write down the Bulgarian spelling for desired stops forget Romance spelling as Bulgaria signs mostly are in Bulgaria/Russian alphabet If possible ask information or count the desired number of stops to your desired stop.

Booking.com hotel maps are problems to print in a good scale

Excellent location for exploring the city. Well connected to public transportation, plenty of shops and cafes nearby. For us, one of the highlights was the breakfast in the award winning cafe 1920 next door. A young friendly team prepares a good selection of breakfast items, including some vegan choices, freshly made for you. They even offer freshly pressed juice on demand and very good coffees. The rooms towards the back were quiet and allow you to open the window without hearing the noises from the street below.

The carpet is outdated and needs attention. It is not 100 percent accessible as you have to climb some stairs to reach the elevator which can be a problem for people with restricted mobility.

The location in relation to the metro was excellent and afforded many interesting excursions. The cafe at street level is excellent! The markets on both sides were convenient. The property was quiet and smoke free, the room was comfortable and clean.

Although a kettle was provided there were no teacups or coffee cups, no coffee or tea provided. So it was a pointless kettle haha. The hotel itself was uncomfortably warm throughout. I checked in late in the evening, obviously exhausted and the young man at the desk was terse and unhelpful. I mentioned I was thirsty and hungry and he said only the nonstop open, though I discovered in my room the next day a minibar and fridge in my room with snacks and wine. Also though I had more than two bags he didn’t even think to offer to help me up the stairs with them to the elevator.

The hotel is a 10-minute drive or a 20-minute walk from Vitosha Boulevard The metro, bus and tram station is in front of the hotel. The hotel is very clean, every day the room is cleaned, arranged and all the little treats are changed (towels, sheets, soap, shampoo, brush and toothpaste, shaving tools, etc...) Several super market stores next to the hotel and also a very inviting cafe (with amazing service) Our room was a very spacious room with several windows (including blackout curtains) The hotel is not new but the level of maintenance is very nice. When they heard that my daughter had a birthday they brought her a cake and candles and really moved her and us

The room number 46 has the room space bed, bathroom and place to desks clean large e spacious. Silent because located not in front main square / street. Breakfasts unusual, but well done and served very well by young people. The hotel is located at the right distance from main facility. The metro entrance is just in front, in front there are tram stops to go for very large areas of Sofia including main railway and bus station and Center of Sofia. (but you can walk to those location being about 800 meter distance). I had an offer with the price of 306 euro x 1 week. I do not know how much it costs without offer.

Nothing to claim against

The receptionists were great, especially the man who upgraded my room, amazing room with a view of Lion's Bridge, thankyou! A great stay, wonderful receptionists too. Shame about the breakfast which barely feeds a mouse and makes the customers die of thirst!

The breakfast was very meagre. Only 1 free juice and coffee, no flexibility, no customer loyalty either, so mean beyond words. It used to be a buffet, but now it is scroogelike in it's disloyalty to goldmembers of expedia. I was so thirsty, but no free extras, abominable! Truly one of the best upgrades, exceptional receptionist customer service, thankyou😊

The location of the hotel is perfect for both, traveling by bus or train and for exploring the city of Sofia. The breakfast in the cafe next door was brilliant. Super tasty and healthy! All in all a good price-performance ratio.

The room was not that modern anymore and you could see some irreversible damages at several places (f.e. some rust at the floor of the bath tub or dirty spots on the carpet) which would require a makeover.

You couldn't get a better location, especially if you arrive by bus or train. As soon as you go out onto kn. Maria Luiza from the station you can see the hotel down the road, a handsome old building that is kind of a prominent landmark in that part of the city. Just steps from a subway stop, a Lidl and another smaller market. Comfortable room, friendly staff.

The location of the hotel was central, close to public transportation to wherever you want, you can walk 5 minutes to the center. The room was very spacious and with air conditioning, a comfortable bed, the hotel is very clean and they always take care of cleanliness. Internet was very good!

In the coffee corner there was only a kettle and glasses, there was no coffee, sugar, etc. There was some lighting missing in the sitting area. Beyond that - it was really good!!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable location about 10 minutes walk from Central Sofia. Spacious room, with bathtub (as requested) with shower over. Reasonable breakfast in restaurant within the building. Good value accommodation. Mini fridge/bar at reasonable prices.

The bedroom (room 25) was a bit dated, and needed a new carpet, as the carpet was old, worn and rather grubby (impossible to clean!). Likewise the bathroom needed redecoration, and probably renewal of fittings and fixtures, as it was also dated, and with some black mould around etc. The elevator worked OK, but was irrational at times at which floors it stopped at. It was good to have a mini bar at reasonable prices, but no corkscrew or bottle opener was provided, and so you could not use some of its contents! I stayed for 7 days, and the breakfast menu for hotel guests was rather limited, and no fresh fruit or fruit juice was included in the breakfast menu.
