Beautiful huge rooms. Lovely staff. Tuk-Tuk located at the hotel. Superb breakfast - more like a banquet. Great pool with swim-up bar. Located 5 mins for town centre which made it a lovely quiet location.

Hotel is a small boutique hotel just out of the main tourist hub of Siem Reap. The pool area was a great way to spend our afternoons after visiting the temples in the morning. The barman was exceptional, ( Mr Naroth i think) He looked after us and made sure our drinks were replaced as soon as the glass was empty. The BBQ in the afternoons around the pool was great value for money.

The hotel has a few Tuk-tuk drivers and the driver that picks you up from the airport is the driver that will take you to visit the temples, unfortunately you don't get a choice. We tried to ask a different Tuktuk driver to take us on our temples tour, but he declined. Apparently, they have "dibs" on who they collect from the airport and other drivers cannot steal their clients. No 7/11 or grocery store in walking distance, you have to catch a Tuk-tuk everywhere. Bread for breakfast everyday was stale.

We had the best time at Sabara Angkor Resort & Spa in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The Hotel Deluxe rooms were magnificent, such a warm welcome, including Flowers in our rooms and a beautiful box of traditional Cambodian delights along with a personalized letter. We would like to mention the Restaurant staff Mr. Naroth, Ms. Ponlouk, such sweet people and the Food & Beverage Supervisor Mr. Sela were so hospitable and accommodating. Serving me and my sister Kathy and spectacular meals and cocktails by the fabulous pool. We were treated very special and they even catered a playlist of music poolside just for us. They really made our stay at SABARA Resort memorable. Special thanks to the Front desk staff that took such good care of us from the onset of the booking to airport pick up, they were there for us all the way. The front desk staff took good care of fine dining and theater reservations and helped us submerge ourselves in the magnificent culture of Cambodian cuisine and dance performances. We want to thank Mr. Rakyut for hand-holding us through a complicated list of shows and dinners. He made the best arrangements for us and also made some great suggestions of his own. We could not have achieved such a memorable trip without him. The other front desk staff were so sweet and booked all of our TukTuk rides which made our stay very special. Thank you to Mr. Vothai, Ms. Seangdy, Mr. Sokla, and Mr. Sopheak. Very young and smart time and they really showed us the TRUE heart of Cambodia! Sabara Angkor Resort, we loved our stay and hope to return one day. All else was great, the wifi was strong, the Food was on point, extremely well done and the breakfast included was the best. The breakfast options were so generous and delicious. Dinners at the Resort were delicious, and the presentation was superb. Great job overall. We love the STAFF the most! Amazing job by the Sabara Angkor Resort Team.

That our vacation ended.

We stayed in Sabara Angkor Resort & Spa for 6 nights and it was amazing experience with cozy atmosphere, beautiful views and perfect service. The room is 70 sqm with a living room and a hottub in a tiny yard. The garden and the swimming is beautifully decorated. The restaurant is excellent and they serve awesome breakfast, traditional cambodian food, western and barbecue. The location is not so close to downtown pub street etc., for us that's even better, we want somewhere calm and peaceful. Specials thanks to Ponlauk, Ms.Deurm, Ms. Touch and Mr. Chtn.

we could not pay by card because of the staff did not know how to use the card reader, some of the staff has limited English but they are trying their most to be helpful, we hired bikes and the lights were not working and helmets were broken. booking.com mentions free shuttle services which are not correct - they do not offer free shuttle. but tuktuk is cheap. location is a little further out but it is not an issue if you are exploring the temples anyway - and not much interesting in the town center

The staff went above and beyond, everyone was lovely and so helpful. The restaurant staff at breakfast were exceptional they were so friendly. A big thankyou to all. The reception staff organised a tuk tuk to take us around Angkor Wat complex for a 3 day tour our driver was excellent even though we didn't speak Cambodian we still managed to communicate, he was very good showing us around. We also got a tuk tuk free of charge to take us to the airport. Bed was super comfortable . Room as a whole was comfortable , fresh towels and always hot water for the shower. Room was immaculate. Food in the restaurant was nice ,we ate in there most evenings. A welcoming cold beer or cocktail at happy hour was most welcoming. Would definitely return to this hotel. Again thankyou to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

More sun beds as not enough to go around. A tad out the way, however $2 Tuk Tuk ride into town direct from the hotel.

The reception staff (Mr La, Peak, Seangdy, Vothai) were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. They were knowledgeable about the area, helped me booked tickets to the temples and arranged me airport taxi. Restaurant staff (Mr Chin, Deurm,Touch & Mr Phanit) were always friendly and quick with their service. Food was absolutely delicious. Rooms were clean and spacious. Pool and bar were very relaxing. Location was good, short tuk tuk ride into town for restaurants, bars etc but away from the busy streets.

Very beautiful property and the rooms were awesome too. Staff were very friendly and attentive. They would take our bags and deliver them our rooms for us. the tuk tuk driver picked us up / dropped us off from the airport and the town. We asked to extend our checkout as our flight want until 18:00. We paid an additional $20 and we had to switch rooms but it was really worth it. Food at the hotel was great and the free waters are really appreciated. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We ordered room service and were told it would take 15 minutes. 45 minutes later we called them and they told us another 15 minutes. The food then arrived within that 15 minutes. The front desk staff sleep at nighttime on the sofa’s in Reception.

We spent six nights in Sabara Angkor and the staff was fantastic. The restaurant was great and our nightly waiter Salem was very attentive. I believe I had the pumpkin soup almost everyday either at a lunch or dinner. The beds were soft which is rare to find in Asia. The hotel is on a quiet street a tuk tuk ride away from pub street. It was close enough to the center city but far enough away from the noise. The spa we had two messages and both where delightful. This was a small boutique hotel that was just the right size.

Beautiful! Best hotel we stayed in siem reap we ended up adding an extra night. - Staff are lovely and friendly, their hospitality is so warm and genuine! We loved our tuk tuk driver every day it was a highlight of the day for us driving around. - The room was so spacious with a comfortable bed. We also loved watching Netflix at night! - The pool and garden area is beautiful! - We enjoyed the location because it was away from the noise of the town and yet there were always plenty of tuk tuk drivers outside the hotel which cost so little.

Nothing really - I would only recommend that they insulate the doors a bit better because it did get quite noisy in the mornings. We had incredibly noisy neighbours that woke us up at 7am every morning screaming with kids. That is not the hotel’s fault however some additional insulation would really help with this.
