THE ROOM WAS MADE UP VERY ELEGANT!

WHEN YOU DRIVE UP TO THE HOTEL THE OUTSIDE LOOKS LIKE A DUMP!! NOT CLEAN AND TIDY!! BRICKS FALLING AWAY FROM BUILDING! NO FLOWER PLANTS! DRIVEWAY NEEDS TO BE POWER WASHED!

The biggest issue was I wanted to relax and sleep in the 1st morning especially after the false fire alarm, and instead I got a call at 9am that there was someone coming to my room and would be fixing my shower door and it would only take an hour. I made the best of the situation and did some shopping, ate at the restaurant and went back to my room about 430pm. The guy was still doing repairs. I wasn't happy so I went to the front desk and told them this is unexcusable so I was finally given a new room. After that day things were fine.

Nice spacious entrance and hallways. No carpet on floor in room. Very comfortable bed. Clean. Good price.

I paid $15.50 plus tax for breakfast. The kitchen area didn't open until 7:30 AM and it took 30 minutes to get bacon and eggs. 12 minutes just for a coffee. I did not even get the orange juice that was included with the breakfast meal. Having to be at a medical appointment at 8:15 am, I forced down about 1/4 of the meal and left. Very disappointing service and paid alot for nearly nothing. I was late for my apointment as well. The lady working the kitchen was very polite and was working hard but by herself. She had to great and seat guests, run the front cash register which also sold items out of coolers, and serve coffee and take payment for those who just came for to go coffees and buy things from the coolers. Too much work for one person. Certainly not fair to the worker or patrons.

The room was much better than expected given the price (great value for money). Comfortable beds, and cooking facilities (microwave, fridge and coffee pod machine). Very large parking lot. Helpful and friendly staff. Very fast internet form room on fourth floor. The hotel bar had very yummy pizza and poutine. Fairly close to airport ($30 uber ride).

Given the other cooking facilities, it would have been nice if there was a kettle, however, it was just as easy to use the microwave to boil water. It would have been nice if they had given us proper mugs rather than paper cups for coffee, as they would be easier to clean and reuse.

Nice bed, swimming pool hot tub, sauna reasonable price relatively close to the airport

Should have a coffee pot in the morning on the main floor with real cream in a 1 L jug that people can just help themselves I get that you have the coffee in the room but those pods are a pain in the ass. And you don't have any whitener and even if you did that powder is like s***. Having one big coffee pot on the main floor wouldn't be such a big deal for Stuff it would be appreciated by customers

Staff really customer service training start with a smile and less time talking to friends on there cell phone when people are waiting to be checked in. Become friendly at the front deak. Not very welcoming. Need to address room key issues I've stayed to different times both times my door card had to be replaced.

I didn't like that the hot tub was not working or clean when I asked I got no answer. The front of the hotel needs to be cleaned up to many weeds looks bad.

Front desk people are great, the lounge had great food, wasn't loud and housekeeping respected your tag (do not disturb).

The hot tub wasn't in use and for some strange reason when I left late in the evening, I wasn't able to phone my husband in the room nor would they allow him to call out either which I'm pretty sure should be illegal.... It was absolutely ridiculous that they decided no one could use the phones either out or in past a certain time. If there had been an emergency with me on the road, I had no way to contact husband to let him know as I had our cell phone.

We did not use the pool or restaurant but the lounge was very nice. Would have been even better if the fireplace worked. Rooms were clean beds and linens very nice and comfortable, our rooms had been painted and renovated. We had a disastrous stay here a year ago but I read the recent positive reviews and decided to give them another chance. 100% improved over last year.

The elevator floors were very dirty but to be fair there was fresh snow being tracked in. I still think the elevator carpet needs major cleaning or replacement

REALLY PLEASANT HOTEL with a SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF who went ABOVEBOARD to HELP their GUESTS!!!

SMOKERS are reserved a place across from the FRONT DOOR. There is a SMOKING CROWD of 1-2-3 who even smoke in the SNOW but they can't get smoke into ARRIVALS of DEPARTURES so it's good for the SMOKERS and the other guests arriving as it is TOO FAR from the FRONT DOOR in the PLEASANT, BEAUTIFUL CLEAN AIR of CALGARY, ALBERTA!!! NO BIG PROBLEM, really... *** WOULD HAVE PREFERRED an AIRPORT SHUTTLE but STAFF helps to get TAXI PRICES a bit LOWER from YYC airport. ***

Check in/out was quick and easy. The facility was nicely laid out, clean and comfortable. It was easy to get to and close to several places we wanted to visit.

A continental breakfast is always nice to have, so that would be something to explore. The prices of the restaurant on location were ridiculous for what they offered. I wasn't going to pay $80+ for the 4 of us to have bacon and eggs, no matter how fancy they make the menu sound. The beds were unusually high off the ground. My wife is only 4' 8" and she struggled to get up onto the bed at times.
