Front desk was super friendly (a fellow ontarien as well!) and when asked if we knew we booked two queens for three people and I said yes, she asked if we wanted to upgrade to a family suite free of charge! We’ve never been in a family suite, let alone one with bunk beds, before so of course we jumped on it. And what a right one it was; sleeping in those bunk beds was like a happy flashback to when my sister and I had bunk beds for most of our childhood while mom happily enjoyed the king sized to herself. The friendliness and attention from the staff alone, is a reason I’ll come back. You people sure are friendly; it’s rare for even the cleaning staff to smile (for real) and say hello to us as we pass them in the hallway.

At first we thought our bathtub wasn’t cleaned as it looked stained, turns out it’s like a rusted peeling thing happening to the tub material itself. The only other thing though that really disappointed us (and I know the staff can’t control this) was how extremely full the small swimming pool was. We would check it every hour if the amount of people diminished, but sadly it was so full till it closed that we never got the chance to swim.

The hotel is great, always is every time i stay there. I choose to stay there for the staff. The employees throughout the hotel are always amazing.the beds, pillows, fridges, blackout curtains, bathrooms, everything is what i would hope for when paying what i do for a room and it never disappoints. Recently i travelled from far north and came into Calgary needing a room right away so i went to the airport area of Calgary. I don’t know why i bothered, the rates were high and buses everywhere,very loud area. So i did what i should have done initially and drove the extra 17 minutes to the best place in Calgary. Thank you for a proven track record of always being #1

That was our second time to stay in this hotel, we love the location, great for shopping very convenience, the service is great.

But this time when we got in the room frist day bathroom had some bad smell, and also when we turned on the air conditioner it has some wet smell as well for the whole 5 nights, we had to open the window when we are not in the room, but the window can only open slightly, I can see air outlets pretty dirty , not sure if the filler need to be clean too. Please double check on that, besides, very thing else was great.

Although there was no continental breakfast there is an attached restaurant and many other dinning facilities within walking distance. Our room was beautiful with a comfortable bed, great bathroom and even a kitchenette. We had our pup (Bosco) with us and although I seem to have missed the check box for that on the online reservation the staff was not only accommodating but excited to see him. Rates were reasonable and service was second to none. We will be back. Thank you for a surprisingly wonderful experience.

We stayed at the house party we were at a little to late and I had a big Canada day gig within Calgary the next day so we didn't stay long enough to really enjoy our fancy pants room LoL

Great location. 15 minute drive to the Saddledome/Downtown, and less than ten minutes to either chinook or southcentre mall. Located directly behind Ikeas.

Funny parking lot entrances. Both entrances are accessible by one directional traffic, if you are coming in the “wrong way” you will have to flip a u-turn. Honestly it was never that big of a problem. Our room have zero view from the window, so be sure to mention you would like a room not looking into the roof maintenance. East facing would probably have the best view.

The staff and comfort of the room was exceptional. Location is perfect for everything that needed to be done on our stay. This is the only hotel we stay at when visiting Calgary since having poor experiences elsewhere multiple times.

The bathroom door took a lot of force to open and close. The TV remotes are in need of an update as they only work at a certain angle and distance. The parking stalls in the front of the building are quite small and it's difficult to have the truck parked so we can see it from our room.

Hotel is in a good location. Room had a comfortable bed, was clean. The room had a nice windows view. Stuff was nice. Overall the hotel presentation is really nice. You can grab free coffee in the lobby.

Hot water was not working for two days, it was warm and getting colder. Hallway noises can be heard at night, doors don't provide much soundproofing

I liked the security of the elevators. Staff were friendly!

I knew I wasn’t getting housekeeping every day unless requested. I requested housekeeping for my third day and all I got was some fresh towels. I was relying on the shampoo and soap. Unfortunately, I traveled light because I had a carry on bag on my flight. I called the concierge for soap etc. She told me they were low on soap and that I couldn’t get any. All I had left was a sliver to shower, I spent 3 nights there. The soap you get now a days at the hotels are very tiny.

The staff very helpful and kind, nice place and spacious. Self serve tea

Everything! Cool light fixtures in the hallways, comfortable quiet rooms with great a/c, bright lobby, friendly and helpful staff!

The rooms themselves are very nice but could use some brighter seating room lighting in the rooms with separated sitting area.
