Carriage House Hotel and Conference Centre

Pool was nice and the poolside service was good. Holli our waitress was excellent. Room was pretty nice although the sink area was a bit small.

Pool tile needed to be cleaned. I realize it’s an outdoor pool but there was black marks all around the pool.

Was awesome stay, very clean, exceptional staff, pool and breakfast. Area was accessible by foot to stores and other restaurants although we frequented Peanuts restaurant mostly. Situated in the middle of both children for daily visits. Had one issue with a coffee maker and was replaced within a half hour. 😁

Rooms were a bit dark at night, a couple night stand lamps would be a great addition. Wall lamps near bed were not good for evenings. One elevator was down for repair but those things happen and the only big issue with having one operable was on weekends with wedding venues book.

The heated outdoor pool is by far the best future. It is open late. And is amazing in the winter. To be able to swim outside and enjoy a heated pool. The free breakfast is also very nice. The room service options are also affordable quick and all very decent. The staff was so kind. We stayed there for 2 weeks and they went out of their way to make us feel special and made everything super easy for us

The hotel is extremely busy from Thursday to Sunday evening because it is also a conference center. As well attracts a lot of seniors because of the restaurants available there. So breakfast. Some mornings can be rather crowded. And it can be awkward going through the lobby in your bathing suit infront of alot of people lol

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Carriage House Hotel in Calgary, and overall, my experience was positive with a few minor drawbacks. On the positive side, the hotel itself is spacious and well-maintained. The pool and fitness area, along with the steam sauna or hamam, provided a great way to relax and unwind. The cleanliness and comfort of the hotel were exceptional, and I particularly appreciated the fast Wi-Fi, which made my stay even more convenient. One of the highlights of my stay was the absolutely gorgeous breakfast. The quality and variety of the breakfast options exceeded my expectations, making it a delightful start to the day.

However, I did find the hotel to be a bit overpriced, which was a minor downside. Additionally, during breakfast, I encountered a situation where a waitress asked for tips, which seemed unusual considering that breakfast was included in the price of the hotel. This was a bit off-putting and detracted from an otherwise pleasant dining experience. In summary, the Carriage House Hotel in Calgary offers a nice and spacious accommodation with excellent amenities such as the pool, fitness area, and steam sauna. The cleanliness, comfort, and fast Wi-Fi were commendable. While the breakfast was fantastic, the hotel's pricing felt a bit high, and the incident with the waitress requesting tips during breakfast was unexpected.

Think it's a great idea that they include the buffet breakfast in the morning. It's really done well and the staff is very intensive and helpful. Great way to start your day.

The only minor thing was there was one functioning elevator each time I was there. It was no big deal it just took a little time to get to your room. Finally the room keys are very sensitive and demagnetize very easy so there were frequent trips to the front desk for new keys.

Everything.. from staffs, room, cleanliness, bed, pillows, hot meal breakfast, everything is perfect. Location is a big added value to the hotel. You have everything in the location. If you are a middle eastern, across there is Masaj Restaurant. If you are a Caucasian, across there are A&W and McDonald. If you are from the Philippines, Jollibee is walking distance. Chinook Mall is just 2.5 Kms. away. Inside the hotel, they've got bar, restaurants, gaming station, Hot Bath, Gym.. I mean, all in one deal. This hotel is a gem for a traveler.

The buffet breakfast being included everyday was a great benefit, staff - from front desk to the wait staff in the restaurant were all amazing. Super friendly, helpful and very thoughtful. They remembered us, our names, what we wanted to drink - just everything made it such a great experience.

Location is not centered downtown with easy access to everything, but we did have a local grocery store nearby and a wal-mart for things we needed right away. And it really is easily accessible with Uber. It was in a great location though for our venue destination and the local gym I was using.

The reception staff were amazing especially Precious and the other ladies too.

We booked an executive room which are all on the tenth floor and we had to move down next day because of the noise caused by the units on the roof which prevented us getting a proper night's sleep. However this little problem was handled very well by Precious in reception . We do feel guests should be made aware when booking these rooms that there is going to an issue of noise for light sleepers. Room itself was lovely .

The Carriage House is very well run hotel. The staff is exceptional helpful and very friendly. The food and the restaurant is excellent. The pool and workout facilities are really good. This is a top-notch property no question. I stay here every chance I get when I'm in Calgary.

It's hard not to like anything here but the only thing I would suggest is the main dining room be a little more bright it's quite dark and a tad outdated but other than that everything is amazing

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly. The pool was great! Had a resort feeling with the poolside food and drink service from Peanuts. We also ate at Peanuts Public House located in the hotel, which was good as well. The breakfast buffet was awesome as well. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, which we appreciated after our early flight getting to Calgary.

One elevator was broken, so that was a bit inconvenient.
