The location is off McLeod Trail, one of the busiest streets in Calgary. I didn't hear much street noise, except for police and ambulances during the night. For a two star rated hotel I got more than I expected. The room was immaculate--very clean. There was a functioning fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bathroom had a full bath and shower, lots of towels, and shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. There were two comfortable armchairs and a small table, a bureau with drawers, and a desk. Breakfast included hard-boiled eggs, make-it-yourself waffles, toast, bagels, cream-cheese, jam, peanut butter, yogourt, cereals, apples, oranges, bananas, coffee and tea.

The desk didn't have a convenient plug outlet for a laptop, there was no good lighting there, and the air-conditioner/heater blew directly towards it. I found it easier to use my laptop at the small table with the armchairs. When the air-conditioner/heater turned on it could be quite loud. The breakfast provided was good, but the hotel was full and when everyone showed up at 8:00 to 8:30 am there was not enough seating room. Plan to come down earlier. I didn't use the swimming pool, but looking out the window it looked as if the base of the swimming pool was peeling and needed painting. The outside of the building does not look as if the inside would be very nice.

Waking up to a kitchen full of delicious baked goods and fruit & coffee/tea ready was just the finishing touches on a perfect 1 night stay! I recommend highly! Owners were lovely! Very organized with a kind introduction and courteous to my needs. Bedrooms were great as well as comfy beds. I’m glad I’ve stayed here. Will be back!

We had a nice 2-night stay at Travelodge by Wyndham in Calgary. Excellent central location, close to pubs and restaurants, clean room and decent continental breakfast. As a nice bonus was an outdoor pool with salt water, not overcrowded at all. Can recommend to anyone who visits Calgary.

Pool had some dead floating insects (mostly small flies) but it's expected for an outdoor pool, didn't bother us too much.

My family and I really enjoyed staying 7 nights here. It was great.

The only missing item was a water fountain. They had a water jar that we could use but once their staff told me that I can non fill my water bottle which I think in summer there should be this option available.

this was a great place to stay. plenty of places to eat shopping mall and c train all nearby. perfect location cleanliness friendly staff we had a water main break for two days which the hotel sorted bottled water and water to flush the toilet. they did a great job

Renovated room was nice and clean. Location for what we needed was great. Lots of great restaurants and shopping all in walking distance. Breakfast was ok. Staff was polite.

The towels and toilet paper were terrible.

Not getting my 100.00 dollar deposit back left the room in the same condition other than changing the bedding they haven't refunded me like they said they would

Clean inside the rooms, accessing the rooms from the outside was a nice feature.

No toilet paper in room on arrival, signs about getting charged for any color on towels yet no makeup wipes etc, to avoid this. Beds were not your typical comfortable hotel sleep.

The location is amazing. The bedroom was better than I've expected, and having it's own door going to outside was extremely helpful. I liked to know it's a pet friendly place, so next time I can take my pets.

The breakfast room is very small, so it got very crowded and hard to make my plate in the morning.

Great Location! Very quite area! Room wasn't the cleanest... Bring your own pillow, they are way too big and lumpy... Staff was very helpful and and very nice! Room decor was in severe need of updates! The heard board looked like a tiger had a go at it! The floors and bathroom have been updated at somepoint, but the poor hotel looks like it's falling apart! It definitely met our needs, loved that you could park right outside your door, very convenient and appreciated! Loved the location! The place could really shine with a little maintenance! But, I guess this is what you get now a days for the price! We never used the pool, but it looked clean and very inviting!! Thank you!
