Best Western Sunrise Inn & Suites

Breakfast was great. Location was only five minutes from the TriCentre Arena, which was the venue we were attending.

On Friday night for some unknown reason at 1 am, middle of the night, someone decided to blow the dust around in the parking lot of The Sawmill which was outside our window. Totally unnecessary to do so at that hour of the night until 2 am, using front end loaders that scraped the bare ground and beeped on back up. Very upsetting and ruined our sleep, probably more disruptive to sports teams or athletes who had to compete early Saturday morning.

Large comfortable rooms. Very clean. Staff were excellent and attentive. Great selection in the breakfast room. Lounge had really good food and excellent service.

Felt like we couldn't enjoy the pool facilities because children had overran it. We tried multiple times to catch a quieter and more relaxed environment but always overran with screaming and splashing kids. The room coffee is not good unless it was the French vanilla.

Bed was cozy. Everything was super clean.

Breakfast was lacking in cooked foods (but honestly I don't expect much for free) - couch was itchy (probably from pet stays) maybe make a designated section of the building for pets only? For allergic people. Otherwise all good.

The pool facilities here were awesome for our family, and the bar manager went out of her way to let us have a drink even though it was closing time. We also thought the location was great, a short walk for groceries and to nearby restaurants. Our rooms were spacious and clean and tidy.

Property was clean and well kept, good variety of breakfast, but be early. Had a pool, we didn’t have time to use it. Well stocked “store”. Guest laundry was clean and loads were cheap, soap and dryer sheets available. Lounge onsite. We forgot an item and they kept it for us till we could go back next day to retrieve it, nicely folded in a bag.

The frames of both beds in our room, the wheels were snapped off, which caused the bed to be uneven.

Clean, well kept. Good pool. Salt water not chlorine so easy on the eyes.

Elevator is a bit slow. Thats the only negative thing i can think of. Ham was served on monday instead of saussge at the breakfast. Kids and i prefer sausage These are very minor issues.

Perfect location and wonderful staff helped our stay to be so comfortable. We forgot toothpaste and the sweet front desk staff quickly brought us some!

Pillows were a bit too big...but comfortable Needed to be flattened so our necks were not to stiff!

the staff is great, grand kids love the pool, so did I ! staff always so happy to help !! beautiful stay, can’t wait to visit again !!!

if had to pick something, the noise from the highway is loud sometimes( big truck noise)!! not nice !

very clean rooms!

some of the breakfast staff were grumpy! There are no vending machines on site and the little store was very expensive and Selection was very small. No convenience stores with in walking distance.

Great place to stay! Staff were amazing, breakfast was great! Room was spacious and clean!

Fire alarm went off at 1:00 am :( no fault of the hotel .. a guest decided to smoke in their room
