We really liked the freshly renovated bathrooms and the balcony. The room was clean, the area quiet and the location was great. It's also helpful there's a dog park across the street for travelers with furry friends. Just a short drive to downtown Courtenay or Comox, so we checked out Ace Brewing for the pinball, award-winning brews, and atmosphere, and were so happy we did!

We don't have any complaints. Yes, the building is older, but it's well-maintained. We were quite satisfied with everything. The Comox Valley is changing with the population growth, so we were a little hesitant to park our vehicle by our room entrance because it backs onto a street (the whole area is quiet and residential though). It was no problem parking in the large front area, under our balcony, surrounded by other rooms and cars.

This is Comox's best kept secret. We love this place as it's excellent value for money. Very clean, freshly decorated rooms, refurbished bathrooms, friendly staff and a great breakfast to get you started the next day. Never judge a book by its cover - this place is excellent for the money. The owners are clearly very proud of this amazing place. We will return regularly!

Outdoor areas look slightly tired but it's only the outside. Inside is lovely!

The staff were really friendly, the room was very clean and had obviously been recently renovated. We asked for a quiet room and got one. The sushi restaurant next door was very good, large portions, reasonable prices.

The heater was a little small for the size of the room and heat didn’t reach the bathroom very well, and the hair dryer didn’t work. We were only there the one night and reported it, so hopefully they fixed it.

Building has a solid structure and looked well taken care of. Breakfast is decent with brewed coffee. Option of fruit, juice, boiled eggs, and yogurt was nice.

Booking.com sold me the room as for 3 people (couple + child), but it turns out is was actually designed only for 2 people. The sofa bed was not actually a bed. We barely slept the first night and got by the second one thanks to a small mattrees that was provided.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Our pet friendly room was spacious and nicer than expected, comfortable and clean. Bathroom had clearly been renovated in the past few years and was quite nice. Small window in our room specifically, but wasn't an issue. Heat and A/C. Free breakfast was great, plenty of options for a budget hotel breakfast. We didn't use it, but there's a public fenced-in dog park right across the street, which is great if you're traveling with pets! Overall great experience, especially for the price, would recommend.

Fitted sheet kept coming off the bed. Just by sitting up on bed against head board and watching tv and when cloned under sheets for sleeping. Not a great sleep with fitted sheet coming off all night while you sleep and butching under your pillow and body n

for the price, it's really good. Facilities are very old clearly but well taken care of however it needs to be cleaner !! change pillows and towels constantly would help.

they need to clean up more! maybe change the carpets since they have old stains and don't look really nice! the kitchen seems like nobody has cleaned in years and some of the disposable plates in the kitchen were dirty!

Clean Comfortable bed Friendly staff Arrived at 2 am. and was greeted with friendly staff. The room was clean. After reading other reviews, we were a bit nervous, but there were NO signs of bed bugs! Clean room Bed was very comfortable Would definitely stay again and would recommend to family and friends visiting the area. Bonus was a pleasant continental breakfast.

The room was comfortable, the bathroom very clean and the continental breakfast was good!! The Inn is older and all in all it was what I needed for my stay. Would recommend to others and would stay here again.

Nothing bad at all. The rug is a bit over worn, and the furniture is tired. Soon needs some reno work done to stay competitive and receiving good reviews.

good size rooms, large queen beds, good lighting in the room. Great staff, very helpful and friendly even during busy times. The person at the check-in desk in the evening, Joanne, assisted us with an issue and went beyond the call to make it work. It's really very convenient to have breakfast on site, a good number of items to choose from. So nice, to have a landline phone in the room!

The rooms are well noise insulated, but the showers are fairly loud, esp when people take showers at midnight. Absence of separate bins for biowaste (compost), recyclables (many of the little plastic containers used at breakfast) and garbage. Better info material on all things Comox would be great (around the reception desk area), for out of town visitors.
