The suite was nice and the bed comfortable and a great size. We loved there was an ice machine, coffee with fresh creamer in the fridge. Nice touch. Can't beat the location.

Not sure what was going on but we did not enjoy being woke up at 10 pm by the phone letting us know they were having a problem with their room assignments. We were clearly registered for the room we were in. On top of that, we didn't enjoy the subsequent knocking on suite doors on our floor and the talking that followed our phone call. While the time might seem early to some, we had a very early morning the next day, after a day of travel, and needed a good nights sleep. That experience took away from that big time.

Even though there was no staff due to holiday during our check-in the communication was very good. No issues.

The air conditioning system was not working. It was running but water dripped from it onto the furniture and floor below. There was a message that all systems in the building needed to be set to the same (heat or cool) for it to work properly. When we visited it was very warm, so I don’t believe there would have been anyone requiring heating. Most likely the air conditioning unit was broken (runs but doesn’t cool). It made for a warmer than desired stay, but we were in and out so quickly that we did not bother to contact the hotel to resolve the issue.

This property is centrally located 3 minutes from the ferry terminal and on the Main Street of Powell River, close to restaurants, shops and coffee shops. The room was tastefully decorated and very welcoming. I really appreciated the black out curtains that helped block out the early morning light so we could get a fabulous rest.

Location, decor, views, quiet, well-equipped kitchen. I always stay at Beyond Bliss, it is a fully furnished unit, not a motel room. You do need to carry your gear up the stairs so not suitable for folks with mobility challenges. Love the deck and the sunsets, located on the main street you have restaurants, coffee shops and lovely boutique shops to visit without using your car.

The sofa bed is not the most comfortable if you need to use it but most aren't.

Very well supplied, with extra towels, lots of coffee and tea, real milk in the fridge, The ice maker was a first and once we found the plug, it worked a treat. Rainy cold weather so didn't benefit from the large balcony but clearly it would be wonderful in better weather with its ocean view. Communication with the property was first rate, and all was carefully explained, i.e. the lock box. We were there on a Sunday and there was no staff.

A small microwave is always welcome. The ice maker was great, but it's important that housekeeping replaces the plug. Only one chair - personally I'd rather have a queen bed, and room for a second chair.

The suite--a king view--was very clean, very quiet, and spacious. The views from the dining area, bedroom and sheltered balcony all showed the harbour, islands, and water much more than the photos suggest. Check in was easy and pleasant with good communication beforehand. The kitchen is very well stocked. The location is great as it is on the main street (which was quiet at night in May) and the view suites are at the back of the property. It is close to restaurants and the ferry terminal. Parking was available right in front.

Wish the instructions had been sent earlier, we were kayaking and I didn’t see them until after we’d arrived. We got there after 6 so the staff had gone.

Beautiful water view on deck. Room was clean, comfortable king bed, large shower. Fresh fruit, muffins, cookies for beakfast, nice presentation. Close to ferry, Skookumchuck trail. Delicious cake was in our room for my birthday!

I've stayed in Powell River before but this is easily best place in town. Immaculate one bedroom apartment just minutes from the water with ferry terminal, Willingdon beach and some great restaurants all within walking distance. If you get suites facing water then be prepared for spectacular sunsets over Vancouver Island.

Great location. Clean and safe. Nice decor.

Beds were way too soft and pillows were not much thicker than a couple towels stacked together. Outside our room got kind of noisy when our neighbours had a little gathering outside.
