Front reception staff were most accommodating as had screwed up reservation. Room (221) was very spacious, gorgeous king bed, microwave, fridge, large bathroom with actual counter space , excellent towels, all needed amenities. Beautiful courtyard with the pool and hot tub. Liquor store on site. Pub restaurant on site with access from interior. Way above average ‘pub food’, great beer selection, and super waitresses! Included breakfast was actually not even. Breakfast lady very friendly and helpful.
Maybe put kurieg’s for coffee in room? Forgot their was carafe coffee by reception though. Had stayed here before but tried a couple of other less expensive places on a few previous trips through. For the slightly higher cost will definitely be using Park Place in the future now.

Lovely family-run hotel close to historic downtown and plenty of restaurants and other local destinations. We walked to a Ghostriders match at the arena and were proud to learn that the hotel sponsors the team and other local institutions. Sheets and towels are high-quality, staff is super helpful and kind, from front desk to housekeeping to breakfast.
Some of the furniture is worn, a bit of grime under the kitchen sink. These are very small issues, as the room and facilities were otherwise great.

All of it. The beds are wonderful. Could use a hand shower. But bathroom was very clean. Love the alcoves so you can sit and visit or read. The weekend server in the breakfast area was excellent. Always on the move with coffee and hot water. Tables cleaned efficiently. Front end staff very friendly and helpful.
Not sure what to say here. Was gd all round. Ate once in the pub and had coffee and dessert another time. Seemed a mite dark

Nice big room with small counter area to make sandwiches etc. was very handy. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning and prepared a small lunch to eat on the mountain. When we got finished snowmobiling for the day we enjoyed the pool and hot tub area and then were able to eat at some of the restaurant's nearby all within walking distance.
I found the bathroom floor to be quite cool. I noticed there was a small baseboard heater in there but couldn't figure out where to adjust the temperature. I also didn't ask for assistance either.

Travellers from Australia. Spent 2 nights at the lodge. Great rooms, particularly the comfy bed. Amazing pub food and delicious breakfast. The staff were brilliant particularly Laura who assisted us above and beyond after we couldn't get the Wi-Fi or TV working then locked out self out of the bathroom...one call to reception and up came Laura with the toolbox..this girl needs a promotion you have a diamond. The air conditioning kept us cool in the 35 degree heat. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean with modern finishings. Great view of the mountains from out balcony.
We always had a later breakfast, so the food in the buffet wasn't that fresh. However, it was free.

park place lodge has really amazing rooms, very comfy and home like, we ordered dinner from the attached pub which was delicious. facilities were pretty nice, very clean looking and super convenient being directly outside our room. there’s a cute little park across the street and location is OK. most staff were super helpful and friendly. overall a very homey stay
some staff were a little bit rude and location is not the best.

The room was clean and comfortable, with all the usual amenities. They have a breakfast which was good as well. It is centrally located on the main drag in town, close to downtown if you wish to walk to shops, restaurants and pubs. Did the trick for a comfortable one night stop.

We booked this hotel because of the pool and breakfast and they did not disappoint. The pool was nicely heated and a pretty big size, enough for short laps and deep enough(2.5m) on one side to do my water aquasize. Nicely set in the middle of the hotel. The hot breakfast was very convenient to have in the morning. The beds were comfy. We really enjoyed our stay.
The rooms were a bit small
