Friendly staff. Room was clean yet could have been darker at night and I don’t care for carpeting in rooms anymore. Breakfast would have been improved with more wholesome choices yet was adequate.

Better bread for breakfast and natural peanut butter rather than stuff with added sugar and such, fruits spreads instead of jam. They could be more environmentally friendly by using soap/shampoo dispensers and recyclable plates, etc that have a specific trash can where they will be recycled.

Friendly staff, pool and hot tub were nice to have and the water slide is a bonus for the kids but they closed too early, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Checkout was quick and easy and the continental breakfast was just right. Definitely a value for the price.

The pool and hot tub closed too early and the entry into the parking lot coming off the highway is rather bumpy, use caution.

Best bed I have slept in during my 2 week holiday in Canada. Dated rooms and bathrooms but best shower pressure, breakfast was to be expected, the pancake machine was something I’ve never seen before, the pool and waterslide was a welcome surprise

Pool and sauna are still closed because of COVID19! I mean it's been 3 years and this Covi thing is over now. To me it looks more like a pretext to reduce costs. Breakfast is based almost exclusively on carbohydrates (sugar). Need more meats (scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, etc).

Very large room with all I needed. AC was a little too cold but very easy to adjust.

The breakfast wasn't great but let's say just okay. Some fool had backed his pickup in next to my room and exhaust fumes came in via AC, not hotels fault they had signs advising not to, I did report it to front desk.

Just overall this place works for what we needed. I was told the beds were upgraded since my prior stay and with my back issues I got through my stay well enough. Beds are tricky but I had no complaints.

If I were to get specific I would say give the customer 4 coffee pods not 2. when there are two people, and one pod is decaf and the other regular, it requires an immediate task.. Perhaps it is one way to get to know the staff better lol...

They need to put at least 2 regular coffee pods in the room. I write this recommendation EVERY time I stay there. Usually there is 2 people in a room , so put 2 regular coffee pods, not 1 regular and 1 decaf.

Location and staff

That the pool and hot tub still remains closed. And breakfast is a bagged lunch. Covid restrictions have been dropped. Pools ,hot tubs are open and bleach kills germs and bacteria. And restaurants no longer require masks or a vaccination certificate.

Good bed, clean room, cool AC. Quiet. Overall nice stay.

Breakfast was given was a pack instaed of a full breakfast as dining hall was closed due to covid. Pool was closed aswell. When all these were open at Wyndaham at Castelgar. Customer service was not the best - no greeting, not welcoming.
