Clean, comfortable room (#31). We arrived late and checked out early but it was hassle free. We retrieved our room key from a small lock box (using a code guest services provided after completing a required form), and used the key drop the next morning because the property does not have 24hr reception. Small touches like the foaming hand soap and shampoo/body wash from a local company were appreciated. As were the dish towels. Small touches make a big difference! It has been a while since we have stayed in such a comfortable and lovely motel, at an affordable price!

It was fabulous, but the addition of black-out curtains would help keep the room dark. (See photo)

The bed and pillows were so comfortable! Five stars!!!! It was incredibly clean. Loved the layout of the room -- plenty of places to sit and move around with a nice "prep" space by the fridge/microwave. The shower and bathtub were big and luxurious. The hot tub was immaculate. Front desk staff are friendly and accommodating. Baseboard heat was a pleasant change from the forced air units typically in hotels. Great location for walking to dinner or downtown. Small touches in the room, like the "rough" wood wall, the art and the fern had a modern and stylish feel plus the local soaps and many lighting options.

Walls might've been a little thin. Our room was near the stairs and quite noisy. The towels could've been softer!

Cleanliness was top notch, and it’s super cute. I’m very much looking forward to staying in the little house style options next time. Loved the fact they have complimentary bikes to take out around the town and it’s location is easily accessible to everything.

-The mattress wasn’t very comfy for me but that’s down to personal preference, my daughter said she didn’t mind it and slept well. -Being on the bottom floor of a motel style building you can hear every movement and conversation from above, but was easily muffled with setting the AC unit on fan mode.

very comfortable rooms on the main highway, but not noisy at all. This looks like an old motel that has been renovated and is really nice, not many this nice in Fernie! I loved the spa and sauna a great way to finish the day or pass the time if its too cold outside. Loved the views from the room of the mountains. I used the free bike hire, it was so easy to get around town by bike since its very flat. Riding to Tim Horton's and the new Wendy's was a highlight!

No lift to the top floor, a lot of stairs to get up there.

Very clean, quiet and beautifully furnished room. Room was rather small, but the clever layout and nice design made it look actually very spacious. Very comfortable bed and nice sheets. Great location just off the hwy, but close to the downtown as well. Awesome communication from the hotel (they send information about check-in, provide phone number if needed, send a proper receipt after checking out). Definitely would recommend

Nothing major. Rain showerhead in the bathroom is stylish, but I prefer the good old water pressure. Bath towels seemed a bit too small.

The room was very comfortable with the bed and sofa. It was also great to have free parking, laundry and hot tub as well as coffee making facilities and a fridge. The hotel is set-up for bikers with a bike wash station and rentals.

It's more of a motel set-up so we had some noisy neighbors sitting right outside our window. Additionally, the main road was loud at night. Next time I would book the tiny homes as they looked lovely.

The rooms were beautifully updated, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. Couch, bed and pillows were all very comfy! The communication leading up to, during, and after our stay was wonderful, and the staff members were friendly and polite. Location is great - close to everything you need, and feels very safe and secure.

Noise from outside the room travels quite easily, and many of the other hotel residents stampeded up the stairs and past the room like a herd of elephants. Our neighbours continuously slammed their room door late into the evening.

We loved the welcome doggy bag from barkside and the details in our room to make our pooch more comfortable like the elevated water bowl, bed, and availability of dog towels. As for us humans we liked the unique decor, appreciated the soaker tub and nice shower and overall comfort of the room

The soundproofing between floors/rooms could be better - that’s about it! Staff addressed the one noise concern we had very promptly.

staff were very friendly and helpful! free bicycle and helmet was a great perk! room itself was comfortable and nicely finished-very comfy bed! nice mountain look to the decor. good value compared to many. great pizza place only a block away.

Motel layout so car noise in morning, and right next to highway so some traffic noise, but not bad. had a microwave but only paper cups, no kettle, so it was difficult to make tea for our metal to-go cups. “mountain view” room had buildings in the way so only a partial view of mountains.

Good location to get around from. Lived the rental bikes you can book and use around town! Also lived the board they have up in the office that gave many great suggestions of things to see/do in the area

It’s an older Motel type of building however it was redone well and was nice and clean
