A very clean, classy and historical place to stay. Staff are wonderful. It was deliciously quiet day and night. The suite was very large and well appointed. Breakfast was not included, however a wonderful snack / fruit table was set up for guests. A small, quiet cooler was set up in the room. A coffee / tea station and supplies were provided, however a microwave oven was not supplied. Awesome view of the ocean. Beautiful landscaping in a park - like surrounding. Several golf courses nearby. Easy walking to the beach, parks and restaurants. Plenty of parking for vehicle. Quaint " Down Town " is close by for light shopping / groceries. Dine in at on -site restaurant with first class menu and seating.

That, eventually, our stay was complete and it was time to leave.

This seemsLovely Hotel with aspect over the golf course to the sea. Rooms newly decorated. No breakfast available at all but we found good places in town which was a 20mins walk. Low staff levels was the reason given also for no room servicing but this seems to be a global issue since the pandemic.

Although our room was nicely decorated etc and we had a huge bathroom the room itself had no window and the only natural light was from the bathroom if the door was kept open. This made the room feel very claustrophobic but we coped for the 4 nights and were out in the daytime. I would not want to stay any longer. Not sure the lack of window was mentioned on Booking.com

the history of the building and the character is very cool.

the shower heads, one in each bathroom, need replacing as the water comes out where they attach to the faucet. also, I dropped a water bottle lid under the bed and when I retrieved it, I discovered a 12” line of (undisturbed) dust in the middle of the floor, beneath the bed.

Everything was great. We went to the restaraunt and they were kind when my partner got sick (not food related). We will return.

The only thing we would recommend changing is the little fridges. In the room it was nice to have but it buzzed too loud so we unplugged it. Very mild issue. We would highly recommend, comfy beds and nice bathroom.

The location, close by to many activities. The elegant decor, the little terrace for watching the sunset, the games room, the restaurant, the staff

There were teabags in the room but no kettle. We were missing stir sticks for coffee on the first morning. The many notices I received all said that housekeeping staff would not be entering the room due to COVID, but then they did anyway. Not a big deal but I would have tidied my stuff better if I knew they were coming in. Maybe the text/email/app notifications need to be updated if the COVID policies have changed

Very classy facility. Super quiet and private. Steeped in history as a lot of famous actors have visited the Crown Mansion. Lovely grounds with the Heritage Forest in behind and a golf course in front.

Room could have had a bit more furniture - another table and a proper mini fridge rather than a wine cooler. We were given a room at the back so no real view. Elevator was not working and rooms are on the second floor.

Modernised old historical building that oozed charm. Individual rooms and service was excellent. It was quiet and overlooked the golf course. Walking distance to Qualicum Beach shops, town facilities and beach. Lovely preserved forest backed onto the rear of the property with 500 year old trees. Plenty of parking.

Fantastic location next to Heritage Forest and overlooking Memorial Golf Course. 5 minute walk to the beach. Hotel is old, so if you are expecting a pool and room service, book a different hotel. Staff are fantastic. Very quite hotel.

Room doors have a traditional key entry. Very clumsy to open door.

The Hotel was beautiful, clean and well appointed.

Since there was not a breakfast option, we were not able to enjoy the beautiful dining room. Also, we did not know the dining room was closed for the night of our stay and the pictures of the beautifully decorated dining room was one of the reasons we chose this hotel.

Villa was roomy and well equipped. Garden view from the deck. Beautiful property, lovely well maintained gardens. across the street from Memorial Golf Course. Adjacent to the Heritage Forest with many shady paths.

Elevator was out of order. We were on the second floor so meant carrying our bags up outer stairs to the first floor then going up two flights to the second floor
