Excellent location and beautiful views! Has everything you need in the kitchen. Excellent shower and pressure. Comfy bed and the ocean acts as the best natural white noise so we slept SO well! Loved the views and the accommodation was quiet and peaceful. Has a fan and we were there in a heatwave and the fan kept us cool enough. Nice to have a balcony and the views are honestly spectacular

Could do with sweeping the rooms a little more and the balcony. Under the table was food crumbs and the balcony just needed a good sweep. Could do with a sponge to do the washing up with. They provide everything else though. Possibly some cooking oil as well as if you’re just staying a few nights it’s wasteful to buy a huge oil.

Amazing view looking out east & west from 2 doors, cozy inner courtyard, safe feel on property, friendly staff, loved toiletries!

Unfortunately our floors were so dirty our bare feet were totally BLACK!! It’s an older place, which is fine, but rooms, bathrooms & toiletries are very nice. So to neglect such an obvious thing as mopping the floors is really a shame & shocking these days with so many dangerous germs around (infection prevention is crucial). Also important - non-slip matts are really needed in the showers, they are very slippery & highly dangerous for falls, esp for the elderly. These are just a few really easy fixes to achieve top marks! 😊

Perfect location! Wonderful sea view ... large room, plenty of space for a family. We did not have a room with a kitchenette, but the room still had a good size fridge & microwave. Bathroom was small, but looked like new ... Excellent value for money! Would highly recommend!

Only two minor issues ... I love a cup of tea in the mornings, there was no kettle or cups. There is a small coffee maker with coffee, whitener, tea bags & sugar provided. We were given paper cups after we asked reception for some ... Balconies seem to be a work in progress, hotel is still renovating a little after major storm damage from a King tide ... rooms are wonderful! Balconies have plywood down and when you sit down you loose the fantastic view ... having said that, you can sit in the courtyard area and enjoy the view, it would be nice to be able to do it from your room ... This is not an issue for ground floor rooms as they have a patio area ...

Right on the water! The rooms were an amazing size with a mini kitchen, a table and a couch. I rented three rooms for the weekend for my family, and we didn’t get into town till 11pm. The staff were so accommodating to us doing a late check in. All the rooms were nice and clean, and they were all prepared for us with the lights on and tv on to make us feel welcomed in our late check in. Honestly thought this was an amazing deal for the money spent. Right by the ocean, a minute from the main strip of town, and surrounded by many places to eat too. Not to mention that Qualicum Beach in general is the most amazing little town to visit.

I don’t think we saw an ironing board in the room but we also didn’t ask. Not really a negative but just something to consider!

The hotel had a beautiful view, most of the staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, most of the room had been recently renovated and modernized, and the bathroom had a great walk in shower. Linens were new, bath towels soft. The beach, promenade, and ocean views in the morning, day and night were breath taking.

The hotel is located on the main drag and the roaring of the motorbikes, the vehicles playing loud music driving by, and the traffic noise was often annoying and took away from the beautiful tranquility and peacefulness we were hoping for by being on the waterfront with the ocean view. The kitchen dishes, cutlery, kettle(to an auto shut off), toaster etc could use some updating.

We had an oceanfront room. It was quiet & relaxing. I thought it was awesome and would recommend this place to others.

I read some negative reviews before our stay. As a result, I didn't have high expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I thought this place was great. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable and had an oceanview. The person that checked me in was nice and there were no issues. I would stay again.

The location is right on the beach..just what i wanted...and it did npt disappoint at all..view of the oceanxfrom every room..a good view

The rooms were redone,but could have still used a bit more work..but nothing i didn't like...For the price it was so worth it...If u r one that like 5 star hotels, then not for u..the hotel was full, so that should tell u something...I will stay there again, for sure.. The Court yard was not done, got damaged by the last storm, so i understood!! There's potential, for sure!! Cant wait to go back!

Very comfortable bed; fantastic location, right on the beautiful beach; quiet. At spring break it was quite good value for the price. It was nice having a fridge and microwave. Incredible views:)

They had renovated the room I was in, quite nice, could use an extra blanket as was cool at night and I didn't want to put the heat up too much. There was shower only, no tub.

The rooms were updated, but the structure of the building is aged. The floors of the 2nd floor walkways were spongey & the lock on our door was damaged. Also, absolutely no communication between staff. Was told 2 different things by 2 different staff, neither of which actually happened. A third staff had no idea what either of previous staff had told us nor did they write anything down. Annoying.

Breakfast? I don’t think they offered a breakfast, and if they did we did not know about it. We had a fridge, microwave and everything we needed for a perfect stay. We brought things for breakfast and enjoyed the scenery from the balcony.

The outside needs a bit of work, but the interior is re-done and very nice. They are in the process of upgrading the property, but we liked it just the way it was. Perfect location.
