Celadon Lodge

This property was the perfect place for a one night stay when driving in between towns. The space is very traditional but with nice upgrades. They have pleasant seating areas right outside your room and the nice part is that it’s very quiet at night. Not to mention the free breakfast! I loved the little balcony that came with our suite and the luxury to have a fridge, a square table to eat and a tv for background noise was all i needed. The linens all smelled great and could tell they were freshly made. The bed was incredibly comfortable after a day of driving. Overall, will definitely return again. Had a great time! I just want to especially thank Donna for our check in experience. We were arriving very late in the evening and I didn’t think to mention it when I booked but Donna was so sweet in sending a text and providing instructions for entry to ensure a smooth arrival. She even happen to greet us when we pulled up to the room which I thought was so special. Thank you Donna, you are so great!

The two rooms we booked were very neat, comfortable, and really cozy. We can see how the owners put effort and love on every detail of these newly renovated rooms. You are feeling like at home no just because of the room, the comfortable beds, toiletries, coffee, etc... in addition to that, the suculent breakfast that includes wonderful pancakes kindly prepared by Donna with yummy toppings.Also, having a pleasant conversation with Tony getting from him and from Donna excellent ideas in what/when/how to find and do activities, eating, and so on... We stayed just one night, but we will definitively come back for a longer period.

Not about the hotel, which is an excellent place to stay... Just that at 6AM, only the gas stations and a coffee shop were open at Radium.So, always buy your things the day before.

We loved this little place!!! This is an older lodge but it is recently renovated and it looks incredible! We travel a lot and Celadon Lodge is the cleanest and most comfortable place we have ever been in. We had a great sleep-the most comfortable beds, pillows and linens. She makes a lovely breakfast for you in the morning-you leave full. The owner is incredibly professional and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. I wish all lodges/hotels/motels were like this because you definitely get your moneys worth!!!! I’ve never been this impressed with any other place!!!!!

What a little surprise packet. From the moment we rolled up, we were greeted by Donna & Tony, the owners, Donna was so warm and instantly welcoming. They have done an incredible job on the Lodge. It's super cute and super comfortable. We booked 2 rooms for a family of 5, the teenagers in one great sized room with a kitchenette & bathroom & hubby and I in an amazing cosy room next door. Location is excellent walking distance to the main drag & Donna's waffles for breakfast topped off our stay! (and the icy poles on the hot night was so great!)

.We stayed in room 12, a two queen bedroom suite with full kitchen and dining room. This particular room felt like a cute cabin once we walked in from the semi private and great little front porch seating area. It wasn't fully renovated like the king suites that they have pictured but the charm and overall feel makes it worthwhile. The queen beds are tad bit big for the rooms but they are comfortable and who wants to sleep on anything smaller than a queen right :). I am a guy who needs a supportive pillow so although these new pillows are cloud like and amazing I will be bringing my fav from home on our next visit. The towels and linens are high end, they did not cheap out when picking these for there property. Curling up at night felt like we were in a much more expensive resort. I found myself asking my wife several times throughout our stay, while we were out and about, if she was ready to go home (referring to our unit) It truly felt like home. Now that we are at our actual home I almost feel homesick for our little cabin :) The owners, Tony and Donna are next level amazing. We travel allot and never have we experienced such a welcoming vibe. These two are truly passionate about this little gem they have. It's clear that there entire heart and soul is tied to this property. Thank you Tony and Donna for the passing conversations and stories, you made us feel very welcome, almost as if we were long lost relatives staying in your guest suite. We have never given a full 5 star or 10 review before, it's not right to say everything is perfect, there's always room for improvement however ..... The mountain views, the mountain air, the tucked away feel yet on street location, the room, the welcoming owners, the new beds, the heart. It all adds up to an amazing experience that we won't soon forget. If you are needing or wanting to stay in the Radium area, do yourself a favor and book here. Oh ya, wake up and make time for the waffles.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners was amazing. They gave really great advice on activities. They have done a great job on improving the accommodation in a short time since they became the new owners. The waffles at breakfast was generous and a bonus for us girls.

As a future investment, an upgrade on the air conditioning would be a bonus. More modern and less noisy AC would ensure a better sleep, especially in the street facing rooms. And perhaps hubby would have enjoyed one or two salty options or two for breakfast.

right off the strip, room was spotless, bed was super comfy, I could log onto my Netflix from their smart TV system. the robes were a nice touch.

this is all really nit picky but the placement of the shelves in the small shower made it tight to raise my arms up to wash my hair comfortably. I think if the shelves were staggered or there was only one this wouldn’t be a problem. There needs to be a mat at the back sliding door coming back in from the balcony I had difficulty trying to keep the floor clean and had to carry my shoes back to the front door. This also made the floor very slippery when stepping in from the balcony onto to flooring.

This is a new, family run business, and I love supporting small businesses. The proprieters are lovely and working hard to upgrade their facilities. The location is easy to access. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and beds are super comfortable - no morning backache from the mattress!! Breakfast is simple, given they have no kitchen facility, but cereal, toast, yogurts, boiled eggs, juice and coffee, and awesome waffles with fruit and whipped cream.

The hotel was newly renovated and modernized. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable . The breakfast was above any continental breakfasts I’ve had in other hotels. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and the Celadon Lodge was honestly my best experience. Very reasonably priced and I can’t say enough good things about the owner. She was so kind and accommodating.

My only complaint is I couldn’t stay longer :)

Donna was very welcoming and we felt at home while we stayed at Celadon. We also like the Waffles Donna made every morning for the 2 days that we stayed in. The place was quiet and peaceful. The view was great as well. They accommodated our request for a stove in the kitchen, super helpful.

The people next door complained about my kid being loud and Donna seemed upset with us around 11 pm and I didn’t like the approach from her at that moment but she apologized the next day at breakfast time, I think it was very nice of her and she was being professional and understanding of the situation.
