Very clean and organized place. Quiet neighborhood.

There was no heater panel into the room to turn it on or off, the panel is outside the room so it was late at night and I didnt reach the hoster for clarification. So the room was cold all night. There was a lot of information and instructions in placards all over the room but none of them about the heater.

Our stay was lovely. The place is immaculate and the owner is very sweet. There are signs in lots of places in the house but it makes everything clear and simple. Each room number has a cupboard in the kitchen, a shelf in the fridge and towel rail. Very tidy and very organized. I didn't find clearing the trap of any hair after my shower a big deal at all. Our room had doors that opened onto a balcony which was a lovely outdoor space. Perfect for morning coffee and an evening gin. The owner even let us hang in the lounge after check out time whilst we waited for our taxi to the airport. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My only suggestion to make the experience better would be to establish a better check-in method. We arrived to check-in at 3pm and there was nobody at the property to check us in nor did we receive any instructions on booking.com. I did message the owner and I rang a few times until I eventually got an answer. Once we had the codes for the door it was easy but we were woken up at gone 10pm by the door bell of someone else trying to check in. Super simple thing to fix, send the room number and door code in a message a day prior. Easy.

the manager keeps the place absolutely spotless,.. she is warm and explains the rules clearly. i loved shared kitchen, designated food spaces. there is a Safeway near by so we ate at the hotel most of the time, it is very close to the airport, easy predictable route, 7 min. i am booking there again when we leave.

no complaints about the place at all,,, i will say when i went to rebook both Booking.com and Expedia added a "property fee" of almost 50% to the bill. the owner saw this and was shocked, "i dont get that!" so be careful when you book,

Richmond is beautiful rich disctrict (town) in Vancouver, the house was located in very nice neigborhood with beautiful houses and clean streets. Only 5 min to bus 406 which will take you to Canada Line Metro which will take you in 30 min to Vancouver city center. There is a shared bathroom for 2 rooms but it is very clean and no problems.

Please add furtniture to the upstairs patio terrace. It is empty now and tourists would to have breakfast on it. Table and chairs would be good start

Extremely kind hostess waited up for me when my flight was delayed until the early hours of the morning... thank you :) and gave me some food when she knew it had been a rough trip the day before with no opportunity to get anything to eat. Exceptionally clean, well organised facilities. Yes - bathroom facilities are shared...but with only 1 other room and with well organised, separated towel rails etc. Great clean, again very organised kitchen facilities.

Unable to get cheap public transport from the airport (BUT... Orchid House is located in the 2nd cheapest set price taxi zone - approx $25 ...which is cheaper than many Uber options) Location is approximately 10 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop with no shops closeby.

The host was a lovely lady who was extremely fussy about the cleanliness of the property, which was fantastic in these days of covid. She required you to leave your shoes at the front door which was fine but unusual for an accommodation establishment. Short walk to a shopping area but not many restaurants in the area

We have stayed in a lot of hotels and B&B's over the years but have never ever struck a place that requires you to clean the shower drain of any hairs if you washed your hair. I appreciate she keeps the place immaculate, but she is in the business of providing accommodation and cleaning is part of the fee you pay when you stay at a place. We don't have a problem with washing or cleaning cups, plates etc in the communal kitchen that is normal anywhere BUT be required to clean a shower drain is going too far Needless to say we never washed our hair while we were there

this place is incredibly clean and nice, Kelly is dedicated to clean. location is great. i was going to book again in a month and Expedia added a $71 "property fee" i asked Kelly and she was shocked, said " i dont get that!" so i booked with another vender, so be careful, read the entire booking,

only issue, we hit during an odd end of June cold snap and the heater was not on so room was quite cold, other that it is near perfect

close to airport yet in quiet residential neighborhood, everything is spotlessly clean. but the best part is Kelly the Inn Keeper, she makes sure things are just right... we love her little post it notes with instructions. we just did our 2nd visit. oh and she was quite accommodating, gave our motorcycle under cover parking,

Clean rooms, kitchen, comfortable bed. Easy check in, welcoming host.

No stove to cook eggs, no milk provided for coffee. Only 1 bathroom for 5 people! I had to wait for 40 min to use toilet, as other family of 3 occupied bathroom, taking shower, doing hair etc!!!I eas informed that it's shared spaces for kitchen and bathroom but not 5 people 🙄

Best and most thoughtful host I've had in a long while. The place is spotless, everything arranged and assigned to each room. The room was very comfortable and host provided everything from bed linen to Coffee/tea. I would recommend this place all day any day. I love the neighbourhood very much.
