The room was spacious and had good facilities (fridge, coffee machine, good amount of storage space). The bed was comfortable. I liked that there were additional tea towels and a cleaning rag in case you spilled a drink. We arrived very late and the office was not staffed at that hour. Check-in worked out perfectly though! Staff we met the next morning were very friendly. The location is amazing: Just minutes to Victoria airport with all its rental car providers. Right next to bus stops connecting to Swartz Bay Ferry or Downtown Victoria. Last but not least, the hotel is surrounded by flower beds and gardens. Very nice touch. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We could overhear people in adjacent rooms. But it is quite normal for this type of hotel and luckily our room neighbors were very respectful.

Everything went well for the rental unit with 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds, a full kitchen, a full-sized dining table and a living room with large windows facing the waterfront Lochside Drive with an unobstructed view of the beach and Gulf of Georgia that is located at the southern edge of the city of Sidney. I was very happy with the one-story building with parking in front of the rental unit that was clean, comfortable and well maintained only a short drive from major grocery stores in Sidney, BC with many choices of restaurants. This motel is only a 11-minute drive from the Swartz Bay vehicle & passenger ferry terminal which has BC Ferry service to Tsawwassen (south of Vancouver city, BC) and the southern Gulf of Georgia islands. Ferry service from Sidney, BC to the San Juan Islands and Anacortes, WA has been suspended for several more years pending completion of a new Washington state vehicle & passenger ferry.

Excellent location, wonderful setting at the property and the view was amazing. We stored our vehicle on the property while away on holidays for a very reasonable price. Room was very clean and well-appointed. The staff member that checked us in was extremely helpful and very friendly.

The only thing we didn't like was the bed. The mattress was so thin it was more like a mattress pad. This is on top of a wooden sheet of plywood. Both my husband and I found it very painful to lie on and weren't able to get much sleep.

This is a somewhat older hotel located on the south side of Sidney BC. It is is in a lovely location with beautiful views of the straights and the islands and adjacent to a park. It is 10 minutes walk from downtown and very close to the San Juan Islands ferry. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchenette. The sink and mirror were located outside the bathroom itself which was practical for us with three adults in the room.

The rooms were charming and clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. My friend enjoyed her room very much too. There was no excess noise even though the airport is nearby…not a problem at all! I think the venue was fully booked but it was not at all noisy. The fellow at reception was very professional and helpful. The whole experience exceeded all expectations. We will be back for sure!

Everything was great!

We love the location of the motel, across from the beach with a view of the islands. The room had been updated and was spotlessly clean. There is a garden with onion and yellow string beans which we were allowed to pick and add to our salads. A very nice walk available along the beach or into the center of town for supplies.

Sadly we were advised that the owner is in process of selling to a developer, so the motel might cease to exist in just over a year. We will try to get back for a last visit before the change!

Nice and big for three adult male friends travelling together - and who required separate beds and separate spaces. Good kitchen area. The bathroom was fine.

One of us who used the pull out bed, did not love it, and slept on it as a couch on the second night. I can't remember what his complaint was, but it was fairly minor.

It was right across the Oceanside beautiful location just minutes walk to Central Sidney and bus stop right across if want quicker access The room was so spacious had exactly what we needed Foldout couch bed/ 2 beds in bed room one small bed & large bed the rooms are all well lit The staff did an amazing job with Cleanliness & were all very friendly This is an amazing spot & I saw dogs there so that was awesome

The water pressure in shower was very low You can hear planes flying

Great value and great location, right by the ocean. Had all the things we like such as a bar fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The lovely lady in the office was very accommodating and helpful and other staff were very friendly. Free parking. Short drive to downtown Sidney. We attended a wedding in the area and it was nice to stay away from Victoria and be in a smaller, quieter community.

Nothing really to dislike. Perhaps the only thing would be to have sheers on the front window for a bit more privacy.
