It is a cut above most motel 6's in the US. Clean and very comfortable. Across the road from a McDonald's and a gas station. If you are coming by ferry without a car, bus 70 from the ferry will stop in front of the hotel and you can stay there and avoid the more expensive hotels in downtown Victoria. Buses from the Motel 6 can get you everywhere in the Victoria area, although it's maybe a 30-minute ride into town. Also, know the bus schedule so that you can plan efficiently. One warning about the bus from the ferry: while bus 70 will take you past the hotel, bus 72 takes a slightly different route and if you want to get off that bus to go to Motel 6, you will have to walk for about a mile, slightly downhill to get there. This is no problem with a backpack during the day and if there is no rain, but it might be an uncomfortable walk after dark simply because of the poor visibility. Also, don't take bus 72 if you are going to Motel 6 and you have a lot of luggage.. Stick to bus 70.

Good location, very clean and updated room, friendly staff.

Bathtub was very slow draining so water was piling up in tub while I was showering. Also, key cards weren't working on second day, and it took a very long time for someone to return to the office so i could get it fixed - of course baby was fussing and daughter had to pee very badly, so it felt like we waited forever. But once the guy came he was super.friendly and it was fixed right away

The duvets and beds were good, the pillows a little flat. The complimentary coffee was horrible. Nice to have a fridge. It was over priced but that seems to be happening everywhere. For a6 night stay I would have expected at least one cleaning. Didn’t smell like dog pee, which is the usual when you book a dog room. Loved the privacy they gave us, corner room with a back balcony. Front desk staff were exceptional, the maids were helpful when asked for supplies. I would stay there again and recommend it.

Super clean, quiet room on the back of the property. Although the property was full we never heard anything ! Front desk called after we were settled in to ensure we were happy with our room etc. Great genuine customer service ! We chose this hotel because it was dog friendly and we are so happy we did. The yard had a pet friendly area equipped with bags and a trash bin. Looking forward to returning to this property!

I found it easy to hear the other rooms. Especially above. I would like to be told beforehand of the charge to my credit card wheb checking in. It was refunded after my stay. It would be nice to be told before checking in this was requirement. Other then that it was a good stay. I'd stay again because of proximity to airport but wouldn't for a romantic stay

The room was small & utilitarian, but had everything we needed. The queen bed was comfortable for my husband and I. The room was clean. There were enough plugs for our phones and cameras to get recharged. The WiFi worked. It was conveniently located to the Heritage Acres train park that we were visiting for the weekend. Centrally located on the Saanich Peninsula, which we circumnavigated and explored...a lovely area to visit.

The room isn't that suitable for lounging around in during the day (too small), but it's a good place to sleep at night.

Good location, close to the airport and ferries. The room was recently updated and very clean. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The room was very spacious and had a small kitchenette. I stayed only one night, but imagine the room would be suitable for longer stays.

The price was a little higher than expected as there were additional fees and taxes above the listed price. There was coffee available in the morning but not breakfast, however there is a white spot restaurant located right next door.

Great value,everything we expected from Motel 6. 10 mins by car to airport Easy bus ride to Sidney which is beautiful. The staff were especially helpful. They booked a taxi but when it didn't arrive he phoned them and made a special effort to get us another,much appreciated when we had a flight to catch!

Easy to find, No breakfast offered but restaurant is onsite. Although we asked for a quiet room away from the highway, we opted for one on the noisy side, as we preferred ground level...the noise was not bad at all. Easy check in & check out. No oroblems with keycards.

Bathroom was a bit small

No breakfast included but the restaurant next door was a bonus. It was close to the airport for our early flight which is the reason we chose it. Front desk staff was friendly.

We needed a ground floor room which we got but there was a big step once you entered the room. I have never seen anything like that before in a motel room.
