Overall the experience exceeded my expectations and was a great value. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the island. The view from my room was breathtaking and I had a large balcony. I plan on coming back with my family in the near future.

My only issue was that shower door does seal at the bottom and there was a puddle on the floor I had to clean up after, oh and the frogs or toads were quite loud at night. I have one recommendation I decided not going to the restaurant as the prices were a bit steep. Maybe consider giving a discount or gift card to the guests of the resort, I wanted to eat there but if I did for all meals it would have added like $250 to my costs and there isn't a cheaper option on site. I chose to goto local places instead saving alot of money and it was also quality food, but I would have liked to eat on site to save the complicated drives to go very short distances on the hwy and heard the food was good at your restaurant.

Breakfast was excellent . Location was great . The master suite was beautiful but the bedroom lacked a chair or other furniture pieces. Very sparse. No where to put any clothing that was removed for the evening ( housecoat etc)extra items, my purse, jewellery except on the floor. There should have been a dresser & chair in the bedroom Master bedroom toilet had a very unpleasant, foul smell. Hot tub was amazing touch. Loved the balcony & the view.

Our dinner on our 1st evening was very poor- tasteless mush We both said that we have never had a meal anywhere to our 70+ years that was so objectionable. The 2nd evening we ate in Victoria at a less expensive but beautiful restaurant & had an amazing meal. The staff were fantastic. All the stairs to our suite were difficult for seniors. Very much appreciated the help to have our luggage taken up to our suite. Not your fault, but the wasps were a deterrent to sit Outside & enjoy the balcony & view.

Wonderful resort off the beaten path. Very spacious rooms with great views. The staff was amiable and accommodating.

The push to reserve a restaurant spot when there was barely anyone at any hour. The food was decent, but I wouldn't mention that the chef is Michelin-trained and then feature Schnitzel on the menu. The pool was underwhelming at 1.2m depth and pretty hot inside. Being close to the highway, I can't consider it a quiet location. For some reason, my master suite was missing all the wall decorations; maybe a raccoon stole them. All vents are way past their due date. They were making all kinds of weird noises. The beds are weirdly tall, and climbing gear was not provided. Landscaping could use more budget. It looks pretty sad, especially the eye sore of a parking lot where the trucks are parked.

Loved everything about the resort. The views were spectacular and the housekeeping and front desk staff were amazing. They even had liquid soap in the bathroom which was my favorite lol-dont like using bar soap.

The restaurant took about an hour to deliver food for just one person. A burger and fries should not take an hour, especially if the restaurant is pretty empty on a Monday afternoon. Otherwise, staff and food were good. The room I booked was in the main building so I could hear the talking and laughing at the reception desk. However, being a solo traveller, it was nice knowing that someone was right outside my door.

We were there to finish our 25th anniversary trip. They had made a card for us in the room with some fudge, & reception even withheld saying happy anniversary until I told the girl it was ok, as I had told them when reserving that it was a surprise trip! How is that for keeping notes & discretion! We got to pick our dining table with the best view, & everyone was just charming, personable, & wonderful. Liked the in- room espresso too!

I did not like that we could not stay longer :(

The staff were amazing. So friendly and accommodating. Samantha could not have been nicer. The views at the property are beyond beautiful, the food was delicious and our room was huge. We had a big king size bed AND a comfortable pull out couch. The room had a patio with comfy chairs for relaxing and looking out at the view. The swimming pool and facilities were super clean and lovely. The view from the deck was astoundingly beautiful.

The Eyrie is a special place in a wonderful location overlooking the Malahat and Finlayson Arm. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and ready to help. We were treated well during our birthday celebration dinner for two. The standard room was modern, well-furnished and had a fine view. The bed was very comfortable and cosey. We enjoyed the pool though the water was on the cool side for November Parking was available close to reception though this might be limited at busy times

The facility itself has some limitations in its design. This would not be suitable for people with mobility challenges as access to rooms is via stairs or outdoor walkways with steps. The fitness facility was closed due to maintenance which could be an issue for some guests expecting it to be open. Check-in is at 5 p.m. which is later than most places; we did arrive at 3.30 p.m. and eventually got our room at 4.30 p.m. An earlier check in would allow guests the use of the facilities before having dinner. Hand soap wasn't available in the bathroom and had to be requested from reception (housekeeping oversight)

Sometimes you go away to a place for a celebration and don't have the best experience. Outside of how amazing the resort is, I was more impressed with the staff and how genuine they were. The service was amazing. From check in to restaurant, everyone was fantastic. Special mention to Lucianne and Jack on the restaurant side. They made our stay more amazing. We will be definitely be back sooner than later. Thanks for making our anniversary very special.

Having to leave the place!

Our stay was amazing start to finish! Gorgeous property, the room was clean, comfortable and the views were outstanding. All of the staff were very professional and knowledgeable about the property. We also appreciated the attention to our reservation details, knowing we had multiple things being celebrated on this trip. Thank you so much for an amazing stay, we will absolutely be back again!

There was nothing we didn’t enjoy about this property.

Lovely views, cozy and well stocked rooms. Loved the jet tub! Wonderful pool, great parking, and very well-kept grounds.

Upstairs guests were extremely loud late at night and early in the morning, both in the hallway and in their room. Bed wasn't terribly comfortable and the curtains were worn (some small holes) and a bit stained. We have an EV, and it was unplugged by someone after we plugged it in at the charging station.
