we stayed at the resort for 4 nights. The overall experience was great, beautiful location, friendly staff, but was spoiled by the first night. The air conditioner was not working properly , it was making a lot of loud rumbling noises, the temperature wasn’t adequate and we didn’t sleep at all. The next morning after complaining to the staff at the front desk we got switched to a different room. It was day and night. We had a fantastic rest if the stay. Now, the question is why would they put guests in the room with a broken air conditioner in the first place? I’m sure they were well aware of it. We certainly didn’t pay a premium price for a sleepless night. I’m a gym goer. I always look for the facilities with the gym in it. Here, the only one resistance training machines was out of service. That was sad.

Awesome view. Full kitchen was perfect for preparing meals rather than going out to eat every meal. Small balcony made for an excellent breakfast spot before the sun dipped behind the main building.

Hot tub was less than warm. But that could be due people leaving it exposed and uncovered when not in use. Lost my wallet in the suite (assumed due to exhausted options) and haven't been able to follow up as the methods I was given didn't work.

Great location and nice to go out for walks! Just 5 / 10 min walk to a small beach, (and a bit further there is a dog beach too!). The 2 bedroom suite was spacious, with a big balcony that had a lake view. The kitchen had everything. It was dog friendly. Having the restaurant/bar within the complex, with such an amazing view, good drinks and food, and friendly staff was a big plus! The pool and Jacuzzi. Overall it was very good and I would book again here.

Bikes are free to use... but they don't have any baby seat/kids trailer available. Tried to book a massage when I arrived, but there was no available times in the three days I was staying.

Nice room, spacious and comfortable. Good kitchen facilities and well equipped. Nice location, convenient parking. Side view to ocean but was okay. Looked over the parking lot and restaurant.

Sitting outside could get loud if other people are on their patios and speaking loudly. Not sure if there is an echo in the inner courtyard.

The property is in a beautiful location right by the water. There is a walking trail going in each direction from the property. You do need transportation to get anywhere as there are no amenities near it. There is a place to have coffee and breakfast in the hotel and the restaurant next door Shawnesseys Cove is very good but that is really it surrounding it.

Better pillows

We were given a very early check in which allowed us to use the resort amenities during the afternoon and frankly made our day! The reception staff were very accommodating and friendly. The pool area is lovely and we were pleasantly surprised to find a second hot tub in our building.

Nothing comes to mind

Check in was easy and efficient. Beach area for a “waterfront resort “ was virtually non existent. You have to walk 1/2 km to get to a usable beach. Parking was below ground but you have to drive a distance to any stores.

Beach. Exercise room was very limited. The rooms were very tight for space . A real coffee maker would have been nice.

Staff were not available. Only one person around, but it was busy so we had to wait a lot. Called front desk and housekeeping 5 times, no answer. Price was high

Beautiful and on the lake, a peaceful property and quiet at night. Two good restaurants onsite and close enough to other dining. Close to winery visits.

Great location, with a car. Room's are well stocked, beds super comfy, and staff excellent. Cute cafe for breakfast and smoothies, yummy sandwiches and coffee. Second visit here.
