Sandman Suites Surrey - Guildford

Spacious room with separate full kitchenette and wonderful city view provided us with enjoyable stay during the fast 4 days stay. Thanks a lot for kind help and support from the front desk. Mary, Front Desk Manager, Manject and other front desk team as well as house keeping team were great and very helpful. We really appreciate all support and assistance. Glad to be back sandman Hotel in Surrey and highly recommended!

The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond for our family. They were really patient and friendly with my kids at check in. My son played with the phone in a way where they couldn't hear him well and they made a point of checking on us to see if we were ok. They were very kind and respectful of the whole situation. We were gifted extra snacks as well. The room was very comfortable as well. My boys and I had an excellent stay!!

Everything was great!

The size of the suite was bigger than expected. Being on the 12th floor with the view was fantastic. It was nice and close to amenities (walking distance)

The building itself is aged. It would have been nice to have a pool. I realize there is a community pool available close but with covid and reserving one in the hotel would have been great.

Beds were extremely comfortable Water in showers was nice and hot Room was quiet Very clean Front desk staff very friendly with prompt service Free WiFi and parking Penthouse rooms had a nice fireplace and balcony which was an added bonus especially for fall and winter (fireplace) or summer (balcony)

Would have been nice if there was a hot tub but isn’t a deal breaker for me when I travel and for the price would not expect it. Especially during covid. Nothing else I would have changed quite honestly.

Everything, it was more than I expected.

Just the fact we had to make u-turn but then I figured out another route so I wouldn’t really say I didn’t like just needed to get comfortable with my own directions. The only one thing that would just make this more wonderful is a pool or hot tub.

Breakfast was ok. Coffee was muddy, food choices limited to muffins and apples. We did not hear other guests, but could hear traffic noises.

Coffee in lobby wasn’t very good. Not sure if anything could be done to reduce noise coming from outside building.

Really liked that the bed had an actual duvet and cover. Plenty of pillows and blankets for the pull out as well. Laundry faculties included in the suite and they supply soap.

The pullout mattress was awful. Comfy couch but terrible mattress. No air conditioning in the bedroom and we stayed during a heat wave. It got warm in the bedroom regardless of the air in the main room.

Room was clean. Staff were friendly

Everything was good just safety reason there should be screen on windows and air conditioning should also be installed in room

It was convenient

It was like living in an apartment building. Doesn't feel like an hotel but was ok. The bed was hard though but again it was nice.

Everyone is kind in hotel. Room is enough to stay 4 family, and very clear. and The view is excalent. And they serve milk and cookies for complementary. I will decide Sandman hotel again, If I visit Vancouver.
