The hotel is set well back from the main road but still within walking distance if you are so inclined. Setting was beautiful and restful. The unit was essentially a one bedroom apartment. Mine faced the marine and Ucluelet. Lots of natural light. The kitchen was well equipped. Large dining table next to the window. Comfortable leather sofa and chair. Deep tub in the bathroom plus shower. I would definitely return on another trip. There is a great day spa on site that is worth a visit too!

Not a big deal. They had recently painted the exterior with oil-based paint. With the sliding door to the balcony and soaker tub, you could smell the paint initially but decreased as time went on.

Enviroment - the living room and bedroom have direct views of the beautiful inner bay; - Hotel in on a separate island, very quiet and can have a quality sleep at night; Facilities - Suit with full kitchen utensils, even including salt and pepper. - Sofa can be opened for a second double bed, very clean and convenient. - The balcony has an outdoor bathtub for a cozy hot bath, with sea view. Parking lot Ample parking, close to suit, convenient for luggage. Don't worry about late check - in and early check-out, the hotel has a very perfect and fast process.

The disadvantage is that there is no washer and dryer, if you stay for more than 3 days, you will be worry about that.

We arrived late at the Waters Edge Shoreside Suites, but the accommodation had sent me an email giving me details of how to get our keys should we arrive when the reception has closed. This was very clear, and we were able to move into our suite with no problem. On walking into the suite, we were delighted by how light, airy, and spacious it was. There was a fully fitted kitchen with a large fridge freezer and a dishwasher. French doors gave access to a balcony that looked out onto the Cove. For anyone brave enough, an outdoor bath is available so you can bathe under the stars. A gas fire, operated on a timer, gave a wonderful cosy feeling and warmed up quickly. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with plenty of spare bedding should you need it. The bathroom had all toiletries needed with lovely soft towels. There were even bathrobes. The only problem we encountered - and it was entirely our fault - was realising that to turn the shower on, the valve that adjusted the temperature needed to be pulled out. This turned the water supply on. We were a bit dim and didn't realise we had to do this, so we informed the ladies on reception that the shower wasn't working. They were very patient with us and informed maintenance who came out and sorted it. Thanks ladies for being patient with two middle-aged dimwits!!

There was nothing that we could find fault with. It was all wonderful.

The suite was beautiful and the view of the marina was lovely. The beds and the pull out in the living room were very comfortable and the suite was nice and quiet. It was perfect for 5 adults and our dog was allowed which was a bonus. We were given enough coffee for the 5 of us for 2 days so that was also great. The property, was in close driving distance to the Wild Pacific Lighthouse trail (so beautiful and a must see), shops and groceries. There is a restaurant and a spa on site.

The description says that there is a view of the ocean and the marina which is a bit of a stretch as the ocean view is only from the deck in the large bedroom and there are no chairs out there to sit and enjoy that space. The ensuite shower had dirt at the end of it, the main bathroom has a floor board that is unsecured and pops up when stepped on. There is at least one other floor board that has a chip in it. There was road construction on the main road through town so some of the shops were closed because it was too dusty. The price was a bit high even for Ucluelet. We paid a lot less for similar accommodations in Victoria that was easy walking distance to wharf street and downtown.

It was well situated. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a very nice view.

The parking spaces weren’t identified properly so we ended up far from our entrance and compared to others we had stairs to use. With our suitcases and our mother with mobility issues, it was unpleasant. So an assigned parking spot as close as possible to the entrance for those units with staircases would have been appreciated. I would suggest putting a recycling box under the sink so guests can know that you recycle.

I had never been to Ucluelet before but I definitely made the right choice when I decided to stay at the Water’s Edge! We had a big Douglas Fir and a Cedar right outside the window and deck. We could hear and then see Bald Eagles flying overhead. There were seals barking. It was as close to camping in the beautiful Ucluelet woods as you could get while still having excellent tubs on both the deck and the bathroom, an immaculately clean kitchen with full size appliances and dishwasher, a super comfortable bed, a gas fireplace and laundry facilities. We bought local sea food and made dinner and breakfast everyday in the room. just loved it there!

Large two bedroom/two bath unit was spacious and fairly well equipped in the kitchen.

One bathroom shower did not drain; maintenance came the next day to address it. In the other bathroom, the hot and cold faucets were switched which is a major scalding potential! Something to keep ice cubes in, in the freezer, would be a good addition (we used a plastic colander). Another cutting board or two would also be helpful along with a whisk.

Location! Location! as they say. Perfectly quiet at night, not too much hassle of a day time, this hotel is exactly what I was looking for to spend a few days away from the city and ride a bike on the new trail from Ucluelet to Tofino. Great trail, almost finished exept some 900 m by the intersection. Our room had a nice view over the small craft harbor which is an entertainment by itself. Kitchen was well equipped and living room was spacious and clean. Free parking next to you suite is a great bonus here.

Small things like broken drawers handles in a bedroom or damage decorative plate in living room. Sofa is not comfortable anymore in room #804 but overall the suite has good value for the money we left there. Lookin forward to visit again. Hopefully the road to Ucluelet from Port Alberni gets fixed in next year. It's overdue.

Close to downtown, beautiful view on creek, and fishing boats. Well appointed townhouse and nicely decorated. Would recommend for group of 5. 2 full baths which is ideal. Washing facilities available at reception house for the complex. Easy check in procedures also after hours. Unit does not have airco but effective fan provided and temperature was very lovely! Beach towels also provided. And we saw a seal every day in the water in front of our townhouse.

Nothing per se. All was perfect! Exterior board walk is in need of renovation.

First of all, I liked the fact that the hotel is prepared if you arrive late. The room is clean, large, fully equipped kitchen. With a cool bath on the balcony. The view from the window is what you want to see every morning: a lake with a beautiful forest on the other side, from which bears come out to catch fish. Plus, fur seals swim up to the shore. And sailing yachts are sailing on the lake
