New and modern hotel with plenty of space in a standard room, including the bathroom. Easily accessible location, close to restaurants and coffee shop. Variety of hot and cold breakfast options. The pool, hot tub, and water slide are great and generally not too busy.

Selection available for breakfast was hit or miss depending on timing - could be replenished a bit more frequently especially during peak times.

Breakfast had a nice selection of options, 2 hot items (Eggs and Sausage), toast, oatmeal with various toppings, cereal. Rooms were clean and nicely stocked. Our particular room had 2 tv's and a really nice 'living room' area to relax in with ample space for our stuff. Didn't feel claustrophobic in any way, tons of room to move around in. LOTS of plug in areas for all of our electronics scattered in convenient places around the room.

I wish there was a few more options for hot items besides just eggs and some form of sausage. The waffle iron was out of order during our stay but I'm sure that was just bad timing on our part. The shower in our room was very difficult to adjust the temperature, our options were sizzling hot or freezing cold and maybe a cool mild if I had the patience to fiddle with it for 15 minutes before stepping in (I wish I was over exaggerating this time). Also didn't realize you need to ask front desk to turn on the water slide in the pool area if you wish to use it. But to be fair, there is a sign outside the pool area about it, we just didn't notice it.

The hotel staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and nice, our rooms were comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was great! Location was good.

My only complaint about the hotel was the increase in room price during our stay. I booked online for 4 nights, thinking our price would lock-in. I was wrong, I ended up paying an extra $370 for king room and extra $370 for the double queen room due to the weekend? that’s an extra $740!! Being that I had already booked those nights at the beginning of the week a person would think that if I were to cancel and walk out I may get a surcharge but I was already committed to staying and enjoying it! I will from now on check hotel policy regarding weekend rates before I book. I can understand a reasonable increase but not to that extent. Disappointed.

This is a standard stay for myself or my family when in Vernon. I've tried other places but we like the Fairfield best. Excellent amenities, good parking, nice rooms and beds, hot tub, pool, and the kids love the slide. Coffee and Tea in the morning at the breakfast bar are good. I would skip the rest of that though.

Skip the breakfast. It used to be better, but as free breakfasts go this one is pretty scant... powdered egg omelet with processed cheese and a grey meat patty. Yogurt is fine, no granola, a couple of cereals, and a pot of oatmeal. We walked across the parking lot to blenz and got breakfast sandwiches or there is an A&W a block away with cheap and good breakfast. Lots of other good options in town for a sit down breaky too.

Fairfield staff was pleasant, room was great and quiet Thank you Booking .com, will NEVER use it again and will tell everyone I know how bad this site is…..

I did not like the way the on line booking site failed to advise that the deals shown were in USD for a Canadian Hotel. Ver disappointed in the way this transpired. The only time you find out the deal is in US $ is AFTER the customer selects Reserve. Then if you cancel the penalty is the cost of first nights stay? Very unprofessional and no class…..

The room (King Suite) was excellent - very large and very clean, seemed very new. Good mini fridge, comfortable bed, nice decor. The hotel itself was spotless and very tastefully decorated in a nice minimalist way. We felt very comfortable in the facility. Breakfast was good. Good coffee, selection of bagels, english muffins and toast, minimal cereal selection (could add granola), eggs and sausages a bit iffy but edible.

The sausages were kind of nasty looking.

Continental breakfast for all tastes - oatmeal, eggs, sausages, fruit, pastries and bread, butter, jam etc. Suitable for vegans. The best beds I've seen in many years. Very clean and comfortable.

Fridge was not cold. Temperature setup was in F, rather than in C. We are in Canada, please use metric system. Are you preferring Americans to locals?

I didn’t know there were towels in the swimming pool area and I brought a couple towels from the room down with me and two guys walked in and took my towels and used them! I had them put to the side when I saw the rack of towels in there but mine are the ones they grabbed I was mad about that but I just grabbed a couple from the rack and brought it up with me back to my room

check in was fast and staff member was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable even though we found the mattress a little firm. Pool and hot tub was lovely, the waterslide was fun even for us adults.

the included breakfast was a little lacking. standard free hotel breakfast, just wish there were better options besides the cold cereal and make your own waffle station.

I used the laundry and gym with quite a good range of weights and 2 treadmills and my family used the swimming pool. Staff were quite helpful.

It is a shame that this hotel uses all disposable cutlery, cups and plates for breakfast. Only one day were bananas available and green tea bags. One day the apples in the bowl were all squashed on one side.
