I was travelling by motorbike, and although some of the parking spots are on a slant, other spaces were more level and easy to park in, located near the top of the motel area. The room was very comfortable and I enjoyed my stay there. The manager took time to outline some of the highlights of the Cabot trail and possible places to eat/visit while on the trail.

Note that the little restaurant (attached to the motel) is open only seasonally (I'd love to go back when the restaurant is open) and places to eat in Baddeck can be limited on a Sunday during the off-season.

The Telegraph house is a quaint and comfortable place to stay right in the middle of downtown Baddeck, close to great coffee shops, the Alexander Graham Bell Museum and other amenities. It is a few minutes walk from the marina and restaurants. My favourite place to stay in Baddeck. Sean always makes me feel welcome and there is a great restaurant in the main lodge that serves farm to table.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean.Had supper there and enjoyed it thoroughly.Price was what I would expect, probably even a little cheaper but certainly reasonable. Beautiful location. So pretty

While I didn’t book a more expensive room , I did find room 7 very basic. Could use new flooring and table and chair. Cosmetic really, but would change the feel of the room from motel drab to quaint

location, ease of parking and access to unit, view of water. Decor of room quaint and tasteful with wicker headboard and antique furniture painted white.

when I made the booking I wanted to stay in the hotel but when I got there I discovered I was in the motel. not sure what I missed on the listing with Booking.com. room was v hot so opened three windows each of which needed something to hold them up. bedside lamp was awkward to switch on and off.

Clean, comfy beds, central location and great view of the lake from third floor. We liked the fact we didn't have to rush down for breakfast. The inn has a really lovely verandah and they serve coffee in the lobby so if you're not big breakfast eaters like us and you can get by with yogurt and muffins from the Foodland, the inn's verandah is really the loveliest spot in town.

It is a Heritage Building situated smack in the Centre of Baddeck. the Furniture Carpets etc. were very clean. we had two beds which was ideal. Other Restaurants were within walking distance for a couple a little over 70 years. We will definitely go again.

It was before the Restaurant was in Season but there were plenty of others. The Owner of the High Wheeler Bakery across the Street Joined us at Breakfast.

Loved the outside seating. Beds were comfortable and staff was very nice. Loved real cream in the room fridge for coffee!

No place to put anything...pedestal sink in bathroom. Only 1 mirror...no hooks or storage room. Appreciated the room cleaning staff but wasteful to throw away the soaps and shampoo to replace with new ones.

The motel room was perfect for Mom and me! We had plenty of space to spread out our things for the 3 days we stayed.

The only thing missing was an electric kettle or other way to heat water for tea. The Kurig left the water with a slight coffee taste no matter how many times we ran plain water through it.

Since I was travelling with my mum & sister, it was great that when we arrived our room for 3 with 2 double beds turned out to be a room with 2 doubles & a single! We also liked the fact that although we were in the motel section of the hotel rather than the main part of the hotel, we could still see the water from our room.

Only thing we missed was the breakfast option. Since there was no tea in the room (though the keurig coffee was much appreciated) my mum missed her early morning tea...
