The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet (which is extremely important to me). The restaurant was very nice and the food was delicious. A little pricey, but worth the money. I was a little surprised that at breakfast, coffee is not included in the price of the meal. All over it was a very good experience.

HAHAHA....The only thing was a gentleman in the bar area was a little past "drunk" and was quite annoying. We were very happy we were allowed to take our drinks to our room.

Guest Laundry room, large room & comfortable beds, restaurant, right next to Newfoundland ferry

They didn't take my card at check-in (because I had prepaid the room via Booking.com app). This caused confusion when I charged supper to my room and left next day without stopping by reception. I got phone calls from the hotel & messages from Booking.com saying I violated policies by leaving without paying for dinner. So I called back and gave my credit card number.

We had a little mix up with payment Booking.com billed us as I expected, but the hotel also rang it through on my credit card,I did get the second billing reversed but it did take a few days..also I had to notice the mistake, and notify them.They didnt catch it, I was pleased I actually checked my credit card bill once home.

Location 2 minutes to the Newfoundland ferry. Lady in the restaurant very friendly, hard worker lots people at dinner and she handle it all with a smile.

We had a breakfast special and asked if we could substitute the potatoes for the beans. We were told yes. However, I did not expect to be charged an additional 4.95 each for a small amount of beans. The 1.95 difference between the price beans and potatoes sides or no additional charge would have been more appropriate.

Closest hotel to ferry terminal. We arrived on the ferry in the evening and so needed accommodation and a meal before continuing our drive in the morning. Check-in staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was excellent - good range of offering and comfortable, modern decor. Room was comfortable and quiet, with convenient parking close to room.

Check in was so easy, and the location of the hotel was phenomenal. The staff were super friendly. The restaurant had a great selection of foods.

The hallways smell of old cigarettes and mildew. The rooms were fine though, and did not smell.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The restaurant was wonderful, the service was fantastic and the food was amazing. The front desk staff were also wonderful, very helpful and friendly, overall it was a wonderfull stay!

Hotel North is very close to the Maritime Atlantic ferry terminal. It's convenient and comfortable. The staff is cheerful and helpful. It's a great spot to stay if you are traveling to or from Newfoundland.

The staff at front desk was very kind, considerate to my disable moms needs, and was extremely nice. My mother and my sister enjoyed their stay before heading to Newfoundland via ferry next day. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends. The location to the ferry terminal was an absolute bonus for us.
