The jacuzzi tub was wonderful. The room was clean and inviting. The staff were beyond helpful and answered all of my questions to the best of their abilities. And when they didn't know the answer, they found someone who did. I'm beyond impressed.

The breakfast wasn't the greatest. The food was cold and the potato hash browns were soggy and the French toast was hard. We went to breakfast at 9:30am so I attributed it to the fact that the food had been sitting for at least a half hour. The hotel didn't seem overly busy so I'm sure that if there were people to actually eat the food, it wouldn't have been sitting so long and the quality would be better.

Perfect location of our rooms just off the lobby. Our daughters were directly across from them, my sister and BIL beside them and my brother 2 doors down. We had come for our Dad’s/Grandad’s funeral, so being so close to each other was greatly appreciated.

A few times our room didn’t seem to have been thorough attended to..ie: bathroom wastebasket not emptied and Kleenex box ran out..had to request a replacement. These are very minor issues, and do not diminish from our warm welcome from the staff. Growing up in Nova Scotia, I know how personable “we” are, but it was nice to have my BC born & bred husband and daughters experience it too.

The room was clean and well equipped, everything in good working order. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom counter top was roomy enough to hold all my toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful and readily replenished. The women who staffed the breakfast room were friendly and efficient. There was lots to choose from. We didn't use the pool but it looked like a great area for families with a two story spiral slide into the water.

The lighting in the room could be better. We find this is the case in most motel rooms. Not much to complain about.

Breakfast was okay. On the first morning they served what looked like a cross between a wiener and a sausage. On the second day by our own fault we arrived for breakfast at 9:30 thinking the breakfast finished at 10:00! We thought 9:00 on a week day was pretty early to close the breakfast. The young lady working there allowed us to take what was still out back to our room to eat. We did appreciate that.

Breakfast being shut down at 9:00am on a weekday! We stayed at the hotel to take in the Heartland Tour. We are not regular bikers, so having biked 60kms the day before, we just wanted to rest and enjoy the comfy bed. We went down for breakfast at 9:30 thinking it was over at 10:00, but the door was closed. We were able to get breakfast in the end! Also I think there was a missed opportunity that there isn't an outdoor terrace off of the pool so you can site outside and enjoy the sunny days after a dip in the pool. The days we stayed it was 28 degrees and sunny.

The adjoining bathroom could be heard , voices and sounds, through the wall. No vent for steam or odors to exit. That I noticed. No notice of movie rentals on room television. We had to disconnect an extension cord , connected to night stand. Annoying humming sound. The beds were very comfortable and I had a peaceful sleep. Other then that, we had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you

We stopped at this hotel on route between Halifax and Annapolis Royal. It was really easy to find located just off the Highway and so for us was in an ideal location. It is not in easy walking distance of Bridgewater and other restaurants but we had an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was good as well. Staff were very accommodating and happy to help. There’s a lovely walk along the river which Angela, the receptionist was able to direct us towards.

No downsides from our perspective.

We were put in a room next door to screaming children. Hotel was not overly busy yet all guest were bunched together. We actually checked out early as it was that excessive.

The staff was pleasant. The room was cookie-cutter the same as other hotels in its class. For those who need it, there is a shopping center across the street.

This hotel has nothing other than a room for the night and a buffet breakfast (not fancy). There are no grounds, no pool or outdoor chairs. No porch or anything like that. It is a good location if you want to stop between Yarmouth and the Halifax airport. I don't know what makes it BW Plus.

The staff was very nice and friendly especialky the cleaning staff. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

We booked time in the pool which wasn't the greatest, they didn't go over the covid protocol and I needed to go back to the front desk twice. The pool bottom needed new paint and they had a waterslide that was completely dry with no water running down it so it was unusable. The breakfast wasn't great but ok. I also think extra coffee in the room would be great especially as our booking was for 3 adults, so there wasn't enough coffee in the room for us each to have a cup

Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and Laura was an excellent waitress both evenings.

Toilet made loud noise and it wasn't us.lol
