The people there were very pleasant. This was our second time staying with them. They found that out when we checked in early, due to the rain. We we're traveling by motorcycle while there, so they put us in the honeymoon suite. Which was a bigger room with a bigger sofa. The owner/operator came in early the next morning so we could get a breakfast before going to board the CAT.

nothing really. we would have like if it had indoor pool, be we we're looking for an inexpensive place as we had to stay an extra day in the area, due to the CAT not running that day because of the weather.

Very comfortable room with exceptional staff and service. We took the CAT ferry to Bar Harbor Maine from Yarmouth and went on as foot passengers. We were able to leave our car and Peter, the host, drove us to the ferry. He was very courteous, informative, and helpful and even offered to pick us up on our return, which he did. He could not have been more considerate and helpful and made everything very easy for us. We also appreciated the lovely breakfast they provided. Thank you Peter and best wishes

The beds are extremely comfortable and the room was really quiet and clean, exactly what we needed after a long day of travelling. The lady that greeted us on check in was lovely and kind - checkin was a breeze. The water pressure in the shower was awesome, as was the hot water. The breakfast was great and for the value of it being included in our room, rate we were really happy!! We were about 7 mins to the Ferry Cat going to Bar Harbour. Thanks for the great stay!!

It was nice that we could open the windows to let the breeze in. Lovely area in front of motel you can sit and have your breakfast. Would stay again if we're ever back to the area. We were able to go to the dock from there to see all the ships and also eating at Ruckers restaurant is a must if you are nearby like we were. This motel you can drive right up to your door so that is so convenient if you're constantly driving. Love that.

Very comfortable firm bed. All-new bathroom with great water pressure. Everything has been recently updated, and it felt like a new hotel. Location is close to a very pretty lake with kayak rentals, and a walking trail runs behind the motel. There are two markets/grocery stores within walking distance. The breakfast was simple but good -included eggs and yogurt.

Really nice room with redone flooring and updated bed linens with a modern look. Very clean. The staff were super welcoming and offered us a breakfast on the house. They have a simple Continental breakfast but serve it up in style. This is a great place to stay when on the South Shore.

The window in our room was sticky. We let the staff know when we were checking out and they promised to fix it.

The room was quite comfortable and clean. The bed and pillows were surprisingly comfy; frequently hotel beds are hard as six rocks. But the bed here was great. The breakfast was a continental style and what I expected; it was just right. Staff was very friendly. Room was big and comfortable. The shower had great waster pressure and was immediately hot - give me a comfortable bed and a hot shower in the morning and I'm a happy puppy.

The AC had to work overtime to cool down the room; it was a hot day and the room faced the setting sun. But it kept blowing pretty much at my face no matter how I turned the vents. I just piled up pillows in front of my face...

I really enjoyed my stay!! The beds were really really comfortable. It met my expectations based on what it listed on the site! I liked the packaged sandwiches for breakfast and the yogurt and fruit! I was also able to plug my laptop into the TV to watch my movie on the big screen. Thank you for the great customer service!

My main thing was that the room smelled of smoke. I didn't check for non smoking or anything which is definitely on me. But I'm very sensitive to it as well. Oh and a veggie sandwich option would be cool! So that was it! Other than that it was very clean and lovely.

Very friendly staff who go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. The option to bag your continental breakfast to go is an excellent idea, and we were very happy with this option. We asked the front desk staff for a couple of things during our stay, and they were very accommodating. We both had a very comfortable night’s sleep.

The room was very clean and comfortable, but could use some upgrades. We would have preferred a cable package to a streaming service as we are not very familiar with how to access live tv shows we would have liked to watch.

The continental breakfast was just right! Very nice choices and the coffee was excellent. Juice, cereal, waffles, muffins, crossaints, toast, ..... all nice and fresh. Cindi in housekeeping did a great job!! All rooms on the first floor. Chairs outside each room.....nice in the evening. Good location - 10 minute drive to the Ferry.
