The host John, was very accommodating. He gave me a place to store my bike and helped when I couldn't get my front door to close. The location was very quiet and restful but located a short walk from downtown. Comparatively speaking, the price to stay was reasonable.
I was allergic to something in the room so I was congested the whole time I was there. There was an odd smell around the headboard/pillows. I am not certain if it some sort of cleaning spray or whatever the sheets were washed in. Likely the first. There was no light switch by the front door so if you were entering into a dark room, you had to stumble around a bit. This Inn was once a house and my room had been converted from another purpose so likely other rooms were fine regarding the light switch.

We paid extra for breakfast across the street at a different hotel. The breakfast there was delicious.
I did not appreciate being charged for the room the afternoon we arrived, before we had even slept in the bed! Normally in my experience at B & Bs in NOTL, payment is made in person the following morning. Our host did not even consult with me before putting through the charge. We were in a rush to meet a curtain call & the host said payment could be processed later. My spouse and I were incredibly surprised that he handled it in this way, particularly since my husband has worked as an executive in a number of large and small upscale hotels during his long career in hospitality.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at the Weatherpine Inn. Our experience was absolutely delightful from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The hotel's location is conveniently situated near a variety of restaurants, making dining out a breeze. The room itself was spacious and the bed provided utmost comfort. The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant and offered valuable assistance whenever needed. We were so impressed that we're already looking forward to returning in the future.
Everything was good.

The owner John was very accommodating with a late check-in time. The room was clean. The water in the fridge was ice cold. The bed was comfortable. As well, my travelling companion and I got breakfast through the Weather Pine Inn for a very reasonable price since John provided a discounted card for purchase. The Pillar and Post serves breakfast 9 -10:30 AM; it is across the street from the inn.
If you have someone who has trouble with steps, request a first storey room.

This B&B is charming, comfortable and clean. John was the perfect host and guided us to everything NOTL has to offer. A slight tap on our door every morning let us know coffee and a breakfast sandwich awaited us on the porch where we enjoyed the calmness of the neighborhood and planned out our day. Just a 10 minute walk to the town, down a tree lined street to shops, restaurants, parks and trails was perfect. This was the perfect sister trip!

This place is a gem, we had a wonderful experience with my wife. The location was great, a peaceful neighborhood and very close to downtown if you want to discover the Niagara on the Lake and have dinner/lunch/breakfast or just walk around. John provided incredible communication and valuable recommendations and was very kind and welcoming. The room and the building are very well-designed and comfy.
Honestly, we had no complaints whatsoever.

a beautiful period property which is quaint and traditional. Periwinkle Suite is lovely and homely and a really comfy bed. Breakfast and service at Pillar and Post is superb. John the owner is welcoming. Walk into town is enjoyable and not too far to the lake.
it’s a bit tired in areas and needs some maintenance to keep it looking fabulous. There are a few interior issues too like the bath in the Forest Room.

Gorgeous room/ building, very kind and friendly staff, walkable to downtown, and right next to the ice rink/ gardens. Coming from Michigan, the bank froze my card and so we didn't have a way to pay. The host was very friendly and understanding, letting us stay the night and pay the following day after we got everything sorted. He even downloaded/set up a PayPal account so I could pay a different way.

Very nice place, the host was very helpful, the building is very peculiar. The pictures are not necessarily up to date as there are no accessible halls, dinig rooms or fireplaces anymore - just your room and that is it. Apparently used to serve breakfast but not anymore - which is a shame. All in all, I would recommend it. Just be warned that Niagara on the Lake is all-in-all very expensive...

We attended a wedding at the Pillar & Post. The Inn was right across the road. It was in a great location. We paid half the price that some wedding guests paid at the Pillar & Post and we also received a card for breakfast for 2 at the Pillar and Post. The value for money was excellent.
The room was very nice, however, the bed was not very comfortable.
