This Travelodge is extremely well located. It's close to the Chinese neighborhood, close to Complexe Desjardins, close to the Convention Center and all the arts venues. The property is clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Internet was stable and will good bandwidth. Kudos for that, as it's not always the case in this class of properties. Rooms are well soundproofed, which for me is worth a lot.

This is a somewhat older property, with AC in each room. Yes, you get it, it's a bit noisy. My room was a queen size bed, comfortable enough if you use it only for sleeping for a short stay. Space is tight in the bed room as well as in the bathroom. Two people may kill each other! Breakfast is included, but food selection is very limited and the same every day. Yes, there is yoghurt, some fresh fruit, and croissants, and boiled eggs. Not much else though. The exercise room has 3 treadmills, and that's it.

Room a bit small, but enough space for a couple. We were happy, that in the bathroom we could open the window. Breakfast: Small, but enough joyce. The aircondition is e bit loud. One light more in the room would be nice. Everything else was really good.

Location is fantastic, within walking distance to Chinatown where there are many great eats and Asian desserts, and Old Port and downtown where there is tons of shopping. The breakfast was complimentary and had decent offerings such as juice, coffee/tea, tasty croissants, fruit, cereal, yogurt, hardboiled eggs, and bread.

The air conditioner in the room was quite noisy. We had to turn it off for the night. The toiletries provided are mediocre quality--if you care about this stuff, then I would recommend you bring your own. They give you conditioning shampoo, body lotion, and bar soap.

I do love the location, lots of the places I like to go. The room is good for me, a single guy.

Several people cleaned my room. Only one person tucked in the bedding. Loose sheets don't stay on while I am sleeping. Part of the problem I think is the depth of the mattress! Why do you have 15 inch think mattresses. They are very heavy for anyone to lift to tuck in the bedding. And the sheets are not big enough for those mattresses. If I were the hotel I would not invest in those mattresses. Thinner mattresses will serve the purpose.

I always stayed at Marriott chains. Unfortunately, all hotels were booked due to Grand Prix and Travelodge had an availability. I was not sure what to expect. My first room was small and felt like a jail cell, the front desk staff member was able to help me and get a single double bed room which was much better. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable, staff cleaned room daily. My door handle broke, and they had this fixed right away. Overall it was a nice hotel, friendly staff, exceptional parking, however you need to pay extra, which I had no issues doing as you right downtown. 20min walk to old Montreal where you have restaurants, bars and novelty shops. Great location and everything is in short walking distance. I needed to write this review, as I was impressed with this location. PS. if you a high roller and want all the fancy luxuries, this is not for you. If you want a great place to sleep, with great staff at an affordable price, then I recommend this hotel.

Not a fan of the carpet or window coverings, could use an upgrade.

The location is excellent. Really the highlight of this hotel. Two subway stations within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet and I did not hear anyone else except for one night when a gentleman seemed to orgasm quite loudly.

The tv remote did not work. I didn't come to watch tv though so this wasn't a problem. The bed seemed very small and not an actual queen size, but a double. The breakfast was not worth the money. Just frozen fruits and croissants.

It was a perfect location. We were within walking distance of Old Montreal and within minutes of all types of shopping. We could also walk to and from the train station. The staff were excellent. that includes front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant.

Although we knew the room would have twin beds, we did not expect that it would be so small. We had to make sure we did not step on each other when we made trips to the bathroom or closet. It really is not a room designed for two people. There is also no place to sit except your bed and then you have to lean against the wall. There was one chair but if that was put in use, it was even harder to get around.

I would have loved to extend my planned trip during my stay in Montreal, mainly because of the excellent location. In nearly 3 days I was able to check out some of the main attractions which Montreal has to offer, all within walking distance from the hotel. If you’re on short trip to Quebec, I’d recommend staying at this property. Highly satisfied from the service, to the lovely intercontinental breakfast.

Absolutely nothing

My partner and I have stayed at Travelodge twice this summer, each time has been a great stay. The front desk staff are very friendly, check in is quick, the hotel is clean and quite. In the morning the breakfast is packaged in take-away boxes and consists of croissant, yogurt, juice, and fruit as well as coffee and tea to take at your discretion. There is a parking lot very close by for $17/day, within walking distance from the VIA rail train station as well as Chinatown and Old Port. Will stay here again!

The rooms are small. Perfect for short stays but for 5+day visits its something to be aware of.

The room is probably the smallest I have ever stayed in but I was expecting it. It was a little claustrophobic, but comfortable enough. The Nespresso machine was a wonderful bonus. The location was terrific for what we wanted to do, close to the Metro, and within walking distance of everything else. Breakfast was fine under the current covid restrictions. I will say that the fruit cup is awful. Tasteless.

Our room wasn't made up by 4pm on Sunday. I asked the woman who was working on rooms on our floor about it. We had a large language barrier but laughed our way through that (google translate helped). She did tidy the room but was clearly very busy doing a thorough job on the vacant rooms. It looked like there was a large exodus that day and there was too much work for one person. I'm not sure she would have done anything in our room that day. She was terrific, I think the situation was to blame. All other days, the room was made up and they did a very good job.
