Great room - we had a view on the city street but it was not noisy in the room at all. You nearly didn’t hear anything - big washroom - everything was really really (really) clean - coffee and tea options in the room - big fridge in the room - in the middle of the city center - really nice and kind hosts - parking close by - coffee / tea and a croissant / chocolate croissant / muffin were included as breakfast at the corner of the street (not even 1 minute walk)

The location was perfect for us! It was walking distance to everything we wanted - Latin quarter, old Town and plenty of restaurants and bars. The room was good for a couple, very quiet, the shower worked really well and the espresso pods/coffee maker in the room was all we needed. Joseph at the front was great and quite helpful. We loved this little boutique hotel.

We were passing thru Montreal to Tremblant and had ski gear. There were alot of stairs to maneuver with our bags/gear. But not sure if other places nearby would have had less stairs. Just something to consider if you're not that mobile or have a ton of heavy bags. We will stay here again, regardless!

I was in Montreal earlier in the week for business and stayed at a large hotel downtown, but definitely preferred my stay at Le Relais Lyonnais. The hotel was centrally located and cute. We had a room in the back that was very quiet. The room was not large but was well thought out and had a very nice bathroom. Albert was super accommodating. He let us check in two hours early and, because no one was staying in the room after us, keep our bags in the room until we had to go to the airport at 8pm.

The property was centrally located right near the Metro, lots of restaurants and within walking distance of many of the areas we had wanted to visit. The property itself was clean and had all the amenities necessary to make for a comfortable stay! The shower had great water pressure and temperature! Albert, greeted us and was very friendly and helpful! He gave us some great restaurant suggestions and was very accommodating to our requests.

We liked everything! Some might find the stairs an issue, but they were not a problem for us.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. I couldn't get the TV to work and the manager immediately came to help. The streets were hot and wonderfully loud with a carnival going on, but my room was wonderfully cool, quiet, and well appointed. I would absolutely stay here again. Also, little chocolates by the bedside to enjoy with Nespresso coffee! I loved that.

We enjoyed our spacious suite on the second floor, facing St. Denis. Albert was so helpful with our bags, etc. The location was great for eating and drinking, with so many bars and restaurants within walking distance. In addition, complimentary beverages were provided along with a continental breakfast just a few doors down the street.

The entryway stairs could be tough to navigate for anyone with disabilities but we managed just fine.

The gentleman who checked us in was lovely. He graciously put up with my halting French and did not immediately switch to English, recognizing that I was doing my best -- chiming in with English for more difficult bits.

Costs have risen significantly in recent years.

Near restaurants in pedestrian zone, with free parking - our room on second floor quiet out the back. Albert at the reception was very friendly and helpful and even texted us to make sure we found the hotel.

We loved the location. It was close to Old Montreal, the downtown core and the subway. All within walking distance. The staff were wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Montréal.
