We had paid for a room with a view but we were on the first floor at the very end and hardly had a view. The brunch was excellent and the berries were delicious, the crepes and french toast were fantastic and the servers in the restaurant were attentive and helpful. The front desk was helpful when we ordered the pizza. The bicycles were great and the bike ride was lovely.

We got there later after driving all day and the ladies in the bar were snobby and pretentious. They didn't acknowledge us really and finally we got a drink and sat on the terrace at the bar. The girls were snobby and made us wait forever to get a drink and didn't show us where we could sit. We had to order a pizza to our room because though we got to the bar 10 minutes before nine we couldn't get any food.

Great room with parking nearby so we could easily unload our luggage. Coffee machine provided and also a kettle on request. Great on site restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious meal sitting out on the terrace overlooking the St Lawrence River and the most beautiful sunset. Staff were extremely helpful, professional and friendly.

Nothing. It was exactly what we wanted and more. Would have loved to stay longer

Our stay here was a great experience. The setting was fantastic and the sunset over the river view balcony was unique. The staff were very good, friendly and bilingual. Everything, from the exterior, the grounds and the room.were neat and clean. My grandsons enjoyed the pool which was generous, well laid out as well as supervised. The outstanding feature aside from the setting was the restaurant. We had looked forward to a unique dinner to finish up our holiday. We got it here! The dishes were great in taste and presentation. I am not a great traveller but I appreciate good fare which is what was presented. The pricing was perhaps a bit high but well worth it. We were very impressed with the children's menu in both choices and pricing. No chicken fingers, fries or burgers here! Under 12 years, filet mignon and other quality choices with vegetables for $15....my grandsons are special and indeed they felt special with such a non "fast foot road meal." The maitre'd and staff, and as mentioned, all the hotel staff were friendly, engaging and efficient. After expressing all these positive points I feel poorly offering any criticism. However, the washroom is a bit too small. That said, a small compromise for a fantastic property.

I liked everything about this hotel. The location is excellent. The room was large, comfortable, bright and the balcony led directly to a fantastic view. I really enjoyed having a drink at the bar that was a few maestros from my room. The pool and jacuzzi are excellent. Loved the stay.

The hotel is not much to look at as you approach but do not let that fool you. It is a wonderful location with balconies where you can sit and watch animals, tides and sunsets. Extremely wonderful! People from other hotels book reservations at the bar or come sit in the chairs on the boardwalk below the rooms so they can see the view, while you sit on your patio or in the room in your jammies and do the same! The staff at reception, and Audrey especially, were very friendly, nice, welcoming, professional and charming! We are English speakers and Audrey and others went out of their to be helpful and friendly!

The parmesan fries at the bar were the worse fries I have ever tried to eat. It was like trying to eat sawdust. I love fries and I will eat just about any fried potato so if I leave fries they are really awful. But the view was great!

Loved our room, coffee, towels, beds were very comfy, deck, beautiful views from the room and chairs on deck. Liked the fact that all the rooms in our building faced the St. Lawrence. Free parking was good also.

Seating in the bar for a snack was a problem, reserved tables remained empty for an hour plus while we juggled our food on our laps from a sofa. Food was not as good as I would have expected. A bit difficult to understand where our room was, in relation to parking so maybe better signage would help people find their buildings.

We arrived late at night and could not see the view from the property outside our window. We awoke with the sunrise to see the most stunning vista outside our balcony. It exceeded all expectations. The best part of our stay was sitting out on the balcony taking in the peaceful view. It was not just the view but the property and the city itself that had a tranquil relaxed vibe about it. We only stayed one night but look forward to returning. The bed was so comfortable. One of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. The room was spotless and thoroughly clean. The hospitality was warm and friendly.

The buffet breakfast wasn’t the best, next time I would try to eat in town. Also, the room when we first entered smelled smoky. I think the hotel is trying to address the issue of people smoking in the rooms because we needed to sign a waiver that we would not smoke which is good. Thankfully, once we opened the windows to clear the smell in the room it was fine.

The view of the St Lawrence is fabulous! The suite was roomy & airy! The bed super comfortable! Check in staff was friendly & spoke English for us! Had yummy fish & chips to-go from Le Mirador to eat on our balcony! Sure wish we lived closer cause it’s a spot I would love to come back to & stay longer than one night!!

It’s too far from Port Elgin, Ontario 😢

Beautiful motel with excellent facilities: a restaurant, bar, patio overlooking the St. Lawrence River, an indoor swimming pool. A comfortable and spacious room with laminate floors. Walking distance to the marina, Park of the Point, and bicycle trails. Very friendly staff.

No microwave in the room. An awkward bathroom layout (probably to fit the air conditioning) with a toilet and a bathtub in the bathroom and the washing basin outside of the bathroom. The bathtub area is really tight. A few towel hooks in the bathroom would definitely help.

We weren’t sure what to expect, but the Staff were great. View from our room was lovely. A light meal at the bar was terrific.

Positioning of the A/C unit in the room above the entrance door was odd - a wall then blocked much if its flow into the main bedroom. Comforter on the bed too heavy - winter weight. Needed something much lighter. Walls between rooms paper thin!
