Hôtel Sous la Croix 152725

The front of the hotel looks out over Tadoussac and the view is lovely. Wood-panelled room with cottage vibe. Smallish shower in a perfectly functional bathroom. No coffee-maker in the room but there is a kitchenette with a coffee-maker and coffee pods for sale (2$). The walk into town is steep but not very long, however the way back seemed longer. We walked down to the whale-watching boat and were happy we did not have to find and pay for parking.

We were unable to extend our stay as the hotel was closing for the season.

Very clean place. It is obvious that was refurbished lately. Not so far from downtown where all attractions are located. A little difficult for coming back walking uphill specially after a good dinner. :-)

Little things like on my room (#17) the window mechanism was broken and could not close it. The in-room air-conditioning was noisy, and we hat to turn it off during the night. There are other hotels in Tadoussac that have split air conditioning that are much quieter. If they will install split heat pumps that will help for winter heating with savings on the electric bill.

This is well maintained and managed hotel.only missing element is coffee machines.

Not much else. TV remote was complicated and did not work

Lovely little hotel! Walkable to the town if you're willing to go back up a big hill on the way back. There was just a bed in our room and one small chair so there wouldn't be much space to relax but it's perfect place to rest your head! The receptionist didn't speak English but we were able to check in just fine! Free parking is great.

View of the river wasn't quite as unobstructed as we expected but still nice!

the ambiance was so good.. the fresh air coming from the balcony that makes me always feel sleepy..😁..breathtaking nature, and sea view from the balcony.. close to restaurants, groceries and whale watching port.. small kitchen that everyone can use.. clean room, free parking.. We travel 12 hours by car from ontario but worthy! definitely comebck again.. Recommended! 🇨🇦🇵🇭❤️👍

Ask for room #16! The view from 2nd floor is amazing. Room size is very good, bathroom clean and well equipped. The balcony is a gift as well as the garden furniture infront of the hotel. #16 has a refrigerator and freezer directly in front of the room, very convenient.

It is a pity that no breakfast is served. The shared kitchen is without possibility to cook, just microwave, also for hot water for tea. Hot beverages cost 2$.

This is a clean, quiet, comfortable 3-star hotel with a 5-star view. It would have been nice to have coffee in the room, but the view made the stay magnificent. The town center was a 5-minute walk away - downhill in the morning, uphill at night. Emerging from our room in the morning we were greeted with a panoramic view of the Saint Lawrence, with a glimpse of the Saguenay River off to the right, nestled between two hills. It was an incredible way to start each day. In the evening, the moon shone like a beacon, lighting a path across the St. Lawrence. We travelled up the Saguenay river after our stay in Tadoussac, but never had another view to rival this one.

It would have been nice to have coffee in the room, not all the rooms have the balconies.

There were good views towards the river. Having 2 connecting rooms worked well for us. Check in was easy. We could walk into town and found le Bateaux was a good restaurant for affordable food and very popular.

If we were to rebook we would request rooms on a higher floor to have more natural light. We also had all the plumbing noises from rooms above us.

Very nice and cozy hotel to discover Tadoussac. Rooms are small but charming. We really enjoyed a fireplace video upon our arrival. It was really great to take a cup of coffee in the shared kitchen and enjoy a sunny morning in a hotel garden with a view on the bay.

We could hear every step of our upstairs neighbours. Luckily, they went to sleep early and we got up super early due to a jet lag :)

The location is lovely, It gives you a sense of peace and relax! From the Hotel you have an overview on the bay and you can walk to the centre. The room was adorable! I totally recommend Hotel Sous la Croix!
