Breakfast was ok, nothing that surprised me compared to other places that I have visited. I liked the staff members in the front desk were friendly and welcoming and helpful.

The lobby area was not cool enough and they had this giant fan quite noisy but it was not really helping that much other than to ventilate the front desk. The rest chairs in the swimming pool area were not well mantain. The toilet in our room suddenly started to make a noise above the roof as if there was a leak coming from the room above us. We stayed in the room 632.

Our stay was very enjoyable as we booked a room which included the club room and enjoyed afternoon tea, drinks and a few mels within. The pool is large and you can find a quiet swimming spot within, however the water was a little warm due to heatwave. Great breakfast both chinese and western choice. Staff very helpful and welcoming. The sea views are amazing.

Shuttle bus couldn't find us..probably language problem though. Room service took 4 phone calls and trip to desk to get ice.

Location, facilities and breakfast

Room seemed quite worn out - doormats, sofas and mirrors seemed very old. Complimentary items were provided only for two people although we booked the room for three adults.

The breakfast was great, the hotel and staff were nice. We enjoyed the spacious rooms, view from the room, and proximity to the beach. We enjoyed being further away from the more crowded and noisy beach areas.

The pool water was too cold to swim in for most guests. There was a sign that said what the water temperature should be, but it was never heated to that temperature. Also, is there any way to provide beach chairs and umbrellas for guests? Without beach chairs it was difficult to enjoy the beach for longer periods of time. The free to use sand toys and afternoon kids activities was a nice touch.

Everything, especially, the swimming pool, breakfast, and the friendliness and efficiency of all employees.

We like that it is in a quiet location. If someone is looking for nightlife, this is not the place for you. We like that it feels like a palace and the staff is very friendly. It is peaceful and quiet.

We paid for club lounge access and the club is not well done. The food is basically white bread sandwiches that are only available in the afternoon. There should be more variety and more hot dishes. The club itself isn't well attended by the staff however when we did get ahold of someone they were more than happy to get us the drinks that we liked.

We got exactly the room we booked - a superior sea view suite - that had a great view and was very spacious and comfortable. Cleaning twice a day was courteous, efficient and unobtrusive. The bathtub on one of the balconies was great - lovely to lay there with a glass of wine watching the sea!

We booked a 'with club floor benefits' package. However, very few staff understood English and it was only due to Bonnie, that we eventually found the 'VIP Lounge. The hotel's location is at the far end of Sanya Bay; the beach there is OK but not many places outside to go and eat.

Breakfast had lots of options. They were mainly typical breakfast foods in China so it was a bit limited for our tastes, but we were able to find plenty everyday.

The Club Lounge is very small with no view and limited hours.

Beds were super comfortable, staff were helpful and pool was nice (needed to be cleaned a little more often).

Restaurant choices not great, rather difficult to get something for lunch and breakfast finishes very prompty at 10:30. There is a fruit shop but far away from other places.
