The hotel has a great location, it is very close to the city centre and some of it's major sights. It also has good connections, lying between 2 major metro stations. So I was able to do most sightseeing on foot (except for the Shanghai Tower but that is easily accessible with the metro). Hotel rooms are very nice, beds are large and very comfortable

The staff with rare exceptions barely speaks or understands English which makes it a bit difficult to arrange or ask things. The breakfast is ok but the service personnel kind of lacks enthusiasm, if I can put it like that

Overall, the place is clean starting from the front stairs, the lobby, the elevator, the hallway, and the room. Front desk staff can communicate in English. The location is not bad, about 500 m. from Laoximen subway station and about 280 m. from bus stop. Breakfast is not fancy but still OK for me. Apart from buffet, you can order noodles or dumplings with soup. View from the room (14th floor) is also nice no other building block the view.

Walking 500 m. from subway station with luggages is not too far but is also not fun thing to do. House keeper did not do their job well enough. I found small pieces of snack on the floor just beside the bed and they are still there 4 days until I checked out.

For the price we paid we have nothing to complain. Yes, the facilities are a bit outdated but, everything worked and the rooms are spacious and our room on the 10th floor had a stunning view with skyscrapers. The huge windows in every room make up for everything, really:) TV, shower, air conditioning (at 37 degrees Celsius outside) - all worked well. Bedding was also comfortable. A Family Mart s about 5 min walk away, so is the nearest metro station. Didn’t try the wifi, didn’t need to so can’t say anything about that. Staff was helpful enough with no issues. But please note: there is a deposit of 200 Yuan that we had to pay in cash (card would be also possible) and collect upon check out (we paid 200 Yuan for 2 rooms, I am not sure if for one it would be 100..)

My room didn’t have a safe and the safe in my sister’s room was there but the lock didn’t work. And the carpet - although it looked pretty clean to me - my baby’s feet were very dirty after running around the room. But there are slippers provided for the adults so this shouldn’t be a problem😅

The hotel location and facilities were excellent. I loved the versatile buffet breakfast and the comfortable beds.

It was difficult to communicate with the staff and they almost never said hello or even reply when we greeted them. Maybe its cultural in Shanghai because in Changsha snd Beijing hotel staff were very friendly unlike the staff in this hotel. With the exception of the omelet cook at breakfast. They were nice.

This hotel has a very good location. Right in the middle of Shanghai making the visit to main landmarks super easy. The breakfast is okay given the dishes are mainly asian. The rooms are comfy and some of the staffs are friendly.

The property could better explain the directions to the hotel. I had to google the hotel online to know how to get there.

Location: Within walking distance of Laoximen subway statyon. Room facilities: Comfortable bedding, free wi-fi.

Cleanliness: Room was generally clean but there are grimes in the toilet that’ll require a deeper clean. Staff: Staff was generally friendly but for some reason, the cleaning crew decided to take away our 2nd key that I had left in the room.

The best thing was how spacious the room was. And I found out that not a lot of hotels are available for foreigns so I think is great. I liked the quality and the staff was really nice. They also give you water for free, the location is like 3 blocks away from the 10th subway and right beside it is a Family Mart

To be honest I expected more from the breakfast. It was good, but could've been better. The juice and other stuff were warm and maybe they needed more foreign-friendly food (I'm an Asian so I enjoyed the food in general but I can see that there was a lack of options)

Very comfy and big rooms with a nice view of the skyline. There are 2 metro stations close by (around 8 min by walk). It is worth getting breakfast as it is a buffet with both asian and western food.

The wifi is terrible it usually doesn't work at all. When it works it is very slow. Better to have mobile data, that works fast without any problems.

The location is very convenient and near to 2 metro station with lots of restaurant nearby. Just 1-2 station away from Nanjing road and people's park. Staff lack of smiling face but they are ok. Room is new and big. Complaint safe inside the room having problem to hk staff immediately she carry a heavy safe box and change for us. Breakfast is good and they change the menu daily. Location nearby to Dashijie. Room rate is reasonable and worth to stay.
