Location - this hotel is really very convenient - it is about 200m from the Jing'an Temple Metro Line 14 Exit 15, it is really near the metro - there is so much to do around the area aside from the temple, there's so much food options and malls as well - it is easy to walk to the former french concession areas such as ulumuqi road, wukang road Room - amazing room, well maintained - very spacious - very clean - had plenty of plugs for charging electronics - bed was comfortable - windows were very clean (goes to show that they dont skimp on housekeeping) - water pressure was very good, water was very hot as well (amazing for winter) Service - amazing service, very helpful, tended to all our requests and queries sufficiently and quickly - i happened to order a ton of taobao goods, the management and staff aided me by collecting the parcels and assisting with sending it up to my room on a daily basis despite the volume - on the last day after checking out, the manager helped us with directing the cab towards the hotel lobby (because road leading to the lobby is a little bit hidden from the main road). Because of the number of bags we had, the manager had the staff help us with the luggage and brought it down on the bellhop trolley - the room service was daily and done very well

Perfect location. Excellent interior decoration. As my room was not ready at the time of arrival I was given a suite, which was outstanding - very spacious, and excellent interior design - the lighting switches for example were superb, with labels for Day, Evening and Night, and the bathroom was lovely and spacious. The breakfasts were fine, though more breads and more Western choices would have made them top-rate. All this for a very competitive price! I am very likely to stay here again.

Breakfasts could have more range. Location could be slightly easier to find from the street. Bathroom could have more items as standard instead of requiring a phonecall to reception.

It is very near my work place, the room is really big though dated. Breakfast had decent options, good for a short stay. Love the TV channels Bed is really comfortable

Toilet is clean but not very well maintained, holes and gaps in the tiles. Water pressure can be stronger. Entrance is not grand and not straightforward. Reception is on the 12th floor, I read about it in the comments previously hence was able to find it quickly.

The rooms in the front facing the temple have a bit of noise, and we got a room facing the back which is quiet. The bed is comfortable and the room too. Some of the staff speak English, others don't, so it is a bit of luck who you talk to.

Bread at the breakfast was old and dry. Bread should be fresh every day. The location is about 12 minutes by taxi from the Peace hotel, which I would consider the best spot in Shanghai.

Hotel was 10mins walk to our office. Very convenient. Excellent location to everything. Subway is right next to it. Staff of the hotel were fabulous especially Nemo & Bilbo at the check-in counter and Albert & Norman managing the floor. Extremely helpful and their English is amazing!

The entrance of the building was hidden. It's behind the main road. Reception at 12/F and it's interior is quite traditional. Small lobby, small restaurant.

Location is very central and convenient. I like the breakfast choices of Chinese food. Staffs are always very kind and polite. I like the bathroom.

The location was very convenient and the staff were extremely helpful. It was quiet, comfortable and there was an excellent breakfast. Lovely, slightly old fashioned decor in keeping with its proximity to the art deco Paramount building just down the road. Also just across the road from the beautiful Jing'an temple.

Lovely and many varieties of breakfast options that we stay for over 3 nights! Love the overall room cleanliness and expectations, good soundproof between the rooms too

The breakfast is great. It has a complete menu of breakfast buffet. Location is very good and it is easy to reach the main attraction. Next to the MRT Station. A good price for what we get.

The property is a bit old, but it is still clean and comfortable.
