This is a true gem in the middle of the lakes in Guatape. Everything was spectacular from the view to the service, the amenities and the optional activities. Communication with the hotel was fantastic! Everyone is always ready to help with any question and super friendly. They helped organise our transport (taxi and boat) to and from the hotel, as well as to La Piedra and Guatape Town, giving us the opportunity to have an amazing day sightseeing those. There are plenty of activities to do on the lake (incl swimming and free kayaking, which we loved!). Food is good and always served with a smile :) The optional relaxing massage was amazing and well worth the price! Having your private sauna and jacuzzi with a superb view is something I could only dream of before going here. The hotel offers both rooms near the reception with great party music as well as more sheltered rooms for relaxation (worth mentioning in your booking which one your prefer).  I would come back here in a heart beat and couldn't recommend it more!

I have traveled all over the world but have never seen or been to a hotel quite like this one. The main structure is made from drift wood recovered from the ocean, and the curved walls all through the hotel resemble the organic shapes of nature in the surrounding cloud forest. The rooms themselves are out of this world, they are very spacious, the water from the jacuzzi was perfectly hot, the shower had great pressure and the sauna had a spectacular view of the lake. They have two light color schemes in each room, yellow and red. I strongly recommend turning the yellow lights off and sticking with only red, since the shadow of the wood structure in the ceiling  makes you feel like you are in a scene out of a star wars film. The bar and restaurant are also very good, they grow a lot of their own vegetables in their own garden and you can witness this as you walk trough many of the property trails. I had the Dill Chimichurri Salmon and my partner had the House Salad with chicken and they were both delicious. They also make a killer Espresso Martini in the bar. The staff is really friendly and always eager to help, they gave me great recommendations of where to go when I decided to go kayaking. I will definitely be back!

Quite frankly it is hard to think of something negative about this hotel. But if I had to give the hotel management a point for improvement it would probably be the internet speed at mid day when there are more users connected to the network. Nonetheless the internet from my cabin was still strong enough for my zoom meeting.

The Service , Pick Up via Boat, Decor and Ambiance of Hotel. Bar area was well decorated and with a good vibe. Restaurant was also excellent. The apple crumb dessert was amazing that we had to order an extra one. The hotel design made out of wood and bamboo is UNIQUE!

We had a 2 bed set up but only one had cover for mosquitos. The other group were uncomfortable w the buzz and bites. Highly recommend Toldos covers for sleeping. Adding rails on pathways to rooms are welcome A bit dangerous in the dark if you slip or walk intoxicated back to your room. Overall an excellent facility

A big hole in the shower I suppose it’s for the water to run down since it’s not your typical shower but very dangerous if you have a pet with you plus the door doesn’t close so bear it in mind if you travel with a dog, Also charging $80! For a dog is extremely high They charge you $100.000 COP for a dog and 150.000 COP for extra cleaning?!! It’s a bit much to say the least as charge for a dog is actually for cleaning

The perfect hotel for a peaceful getaway that’s equally authentic and luxurious. This is a special place on earth. I almost don’t want to review it because then other people will know about it and I want to keep this wonderful place to myself, but Santiago and his family deserve recognition for the magic they have created. Will come back to Colombia just for this place.

Trying to find something I didn’t like about the hotel, but maybe just the internet was slow, but that’s to be expected.

The hotel is very unique. Liked this uniqueness. And being this rustic it was comfortable. Nice beds nice jacuzzi.

Walk-in to each cabin is a little dark and at night you have to be careful. The shower in cabin Clarita didn’t spray very well and like 3 meters higher imposible to move it to get a better water spray. The food wasn’t the best and the only thing available because getting to a nearby restaurant or hotel needed a hot ride which was only available by 5pm.

It is one of those unique places you will still remember you stayed at a few decades later. The structure is made of driftwood and covered with bamboo. The room is extremely large with its own sauna and jacuzzi. Santiago, Lauren, and their family, together with a very enthusiastic crew are happy friendly people that do their utmost to make you feel at home. The location is on the outskirts of the water reserve, a very inspiring location. The boat ride from Guatape to the place was a fantastic start to our stay

We loved everything, rooms were very spacious and comfortable with everything needed, the view couldn’t be better, truly a wonderful place to relax, eat (excellent food) … where you can also do many activities (we went on a boat trip, to the town of Guatape, helicopter ride, and more)… Santiago and his family and staff were top notch, and went above and beyond to accommodate us so we could have an awesome experience.

Everything was perfect, from Santiago the Manager to all the personnel everybody was very kind and helpful. The food was simply delicious. The place is incredible, unforgettable in its conception and design. Eearly in the morning we measured 13 db - it was so quiet! We had a lot of fun in an unforgettable place. The pictures are all real!

I stayed in Bethel Lozana in my latest trip to Colombia. I had been to Guatape before but had never been to this part of the lake. I much preferred the area wehre the hotel is lcoated, alot more quiet and layed back. I would defenitivley come here again!
