The hotel has a great restaurant with good food in breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room was good, everything you need was available. The hotel is only 100-200 meters from Santa Fe mall and Oviedo mall. With several good restaurants in the neighborhood. It has a nice small spa with two jacuzzi's. No pool.

The service in the restaurant was not good, not attentive. For instance: they give you a menu, but forget to ask what you would like to drink. And only after 20 minutes they come ask for the order. You ask for coffee, and they just forget.... Explicit requests were not followed up. They have a good wine menu, but the waiter did not even know what a Sauvignon blanc is..... And it was not a busy restaurant! And when you observe, you see that they just do not monitor the guests, but talk to each other or are away.

a cosy room and nice restaurant part with comfortable chairs and a view into the green. Breakfast very well and of good choice.. yummy Staff was very helpful, gave us rechargeable Metrocards and hints for sports, shopping and transportation... the area is plesant and on sundays, the main street that goes through the city, is blocked for biker, jogger, dog walker and everybody who wants to enjoy what seems like a community event. We saw as well an outside zumba class and some stands on the sidewalk. A very nice sunday feeling in front of the hotel.

we heard the traffic from outside, but were offered a different room to the other side after mentioning this. So that was kind and after rethinking, we kept ours anyway, since the room itself was nice and inviting

It is a pretty nice hotel, it is at a secure location and the breakfast is amazing.

Our first room had the AC leaking droplets into the bed, but the staff was amazing enough to change rooms for us, but they also need to add more safety measures to the bathtubs, they are super slippery and I fell there, so some kind of anti slippery tape would be greatly appreciated. if you are taking a shower please be careful, because you could fall.

The Hotel Porton Medellin was located in the heart of town, across from the mall this hotel had excellent staff and even when you don't speak much Spanish was able to speak good English, Mr Jorge was on point . I looked for him as I existed the hotel to return home only to be unable to thank him again for his over the the top service, the front desk ,the restaurant was on point and lastly even when I did not attend the entertainment at night was able to hear the wonderful sounds that was provided, I would definitely return again when I visit Columbia south America. Five stars all the way.

Breakfast was wonderful, the staff was amazing. They catered to all of our needs. I really enjoyed their typical Colombian dishes. The Cazuela was my favorite and my husband loved the bacon wrapped filet mignon. The rooms were really nice and I liked that they were all a little different from one another. Water pressure was perfect and the beds were really comfy.

I wish this hotel had a pool. That was the only con. Also, the elevator doors closed very quickly and we had to roll my grandmother in very quickly in her wheel chair or the doors would close on her.

Centrally located. Very close to the Santafé and Oviedo mall. Easy to reach the metro station. Staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were small. Breakfast was okay, but not exceptional. Bread was very dry and not fresh.

the room needs upgrades like smart tv, room door is not level correctly hard to open, bathroom shower door does not close it have to leave open, extractor in the bathroom is way to laud. the room definitely needs work and upgrades. This hotel shouldn’t have issues of that nature.

Excellent food quality and service. Staff exceedingly friendly and caring. Nice ambience in the bar and restaurant.... LOCATION : OUTSTANDING!!!

my initial arrival was very bad, , arriving late at a full hotel the room was most unsatisfactory and not what I was expecting for a 4 night stay. The following morning the Front DesK manager took charge and immediately changed rooms . The sign of excellent hotel service is the ability to quickly turn a bad situation in to a positive experience! They did this with flying colors! That is the indication of an excellent hotel - excellent staff working hard to meet guest expectations

The breakfast buffet was huge, with a big variety. especially loved the smoothies which were not like the watery, sugary “juices” in other hotels. The staff were always friendly and helpful! We slept well, the bed and pillows were comfortable and it was quiet enough. Overall really good value money and much recommended.

a little bit more space in the bathroom to put your toiletries or even to hang the towels would have been good but that’s really my only “complaint” as everything else was good

Very good location. Close to Santa Fe Mall and half mile walk to Metro station Aquatacala. Also, at walking distance to ViVa mall(1.5mi). Great breakfast and room service.

The gym needs some upgrading. Bicycle & total gym machine. But you can do your workout.
